I'm 13. I didn't know this many adults played video games. I don't know any.

*gasp* Dragon Ages adult themes must have warped your fragile little mind!

I'm 30 like many of the gamers nowadays who simply grew up with videogames since the last 15 years, so kiddos, you ll be surprized to realise that they are more people from my age who play games than people from your age... i mean, we adults grew with older systems, legendary rpg on consoles or PC, and now as adults we own many support for examples three consoles and two pcs for me(same for most of my mates). do you really think that videogame market could survive only on teenagers pocket money...

30 going on 31, loved Bioware since Baldur's Gate. Good times - might be my favourite game ever.

36. First games were Pac-Man (handheld) and Donkey Kong (on a hand-held console shaped like a big box!). Moved on to Commodore 64. Had a break from gaming (bad economy/studies) and missed the PS1 and Xbox revolutions, then returned to gaming on PS2. I mostly played sports games and action games (Metal Gear Solid!). Didn't try RPGs until PS3 and Xbox360. Elder Scrolls Oblivion was my first RPG. Then I discovered Bioware: Mass Effect 1 and 2, KOTOR and Dragon Age. .EDIT: I actually had a Commodore 128! I remember I was proud of having a computer that was twice as good as the 64...

37, but mentally like 12 (according to my mother).

Never had an Atari growing up, although the neighbor kids did, instead we had a Vetrex.....

Used to be great at PacMan, but otherwise never got into video games until my hubby 5 years younger than me introduced me to the PS Baulder's Gate game about 4 years ago.....DAO is the first game I have ever played on a PC. (and I'm finding I prefer a PC game over a console game)

Edit: Oh man! I remember the C64, we had one of those too, what was it Oregon Trail or something like that? Man I never made it to the end, always dies (Kind of like the Choose Your Own Adventure books)

I'm a 16-year-old girl, though I certainly know that adults can be avid gamers...my dad played Crysis and MW2 before me, and my mom's gaming on her PC as I type :P Though the people I know personally that play Dragon Age are in the 15-22 range, none of them are on the forums. It seems that older players make up the majority of the members here.

24, putting me right around the median age here, assuming the majority are honest. I often wonder. To the people surprised at the number of adults playing video games: some people may be lying for whatever reason, but what I found while playing WoW was that most of my guild was made up of college students and professionals--not very different from the ages given here.

I'll be 31 in a few weeks.

Had an intellivision and an atari 2600 when I was a really young, since my dad was a gamer from the early days.

My first computer of my own was a hand me down Tandy 1000. The sick thing is, I kept that machine well into the 90s... I only managed to weasel something new from my parents when the keyboard died. Thank the Maker for radio shack and their proprietary keyboard input, I might have been forced to drag it to college with me otherwise.

Turning 22 in a couple of months. My first gaming addiction was Super Mario Bros. on the NES back in the early 90s.
