54 this fall, dam I must be the oldest one in the group!  USMC Retired/Disabled, so I have a lot of time on my hands. Cannot believe there are so many young people (less than 21) playing this game.  That is a good thing as it will ensure the game has a lot of followers.  It also explains many of the postings I have read as well.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

Got you beat, Gunny!  But in terms of how long I've played video games, I'm probably one of the "youngest" here.  (Edited to add content.)

Turned 21 this year.

Personally, I'm not much of an RPG player and prefer shooters. But I have to say I've never had this much fun playing an RPG since Diablo II (which I played for nearly 2 years online).

60,  (do I win the prize for oldest???)
started out by BUILDING a Pong game (actually etched circuit board, and wire wrapped a sh!tload of ICs into it).

Had an Atari 2600 console, never liked it, the kids played it a lot
though, also had a Commodore 64 but never really gamed on it

First real computer was an AtariST - which had GREAT graphics, at least 6 or 7 years ahead of PC, playing Dungeon Master, one of the greatest RPG games ever.

Turning 22 on July 20; to be honest this fandom has some older people then what I'm use, usually it felt like I was the oldest person so I has to make sure I was mature and polite. Not that I don't still try to be.

Just turned 20 a few months back.

From what I've been seeing in the forums, seems like Dragon Age appeals to a more mature audience. You can't really put an age tag on that, though; I've seen a lot of older people act like they've just hit puberty, and vice versa. So, err... yeah. If I were to make an estimate though, I'd say ages 25-35 would be the average?

19, gonna be 20 in October.

My intro to gaming was, sad to say, the Pokemon craze when I was eight. Then I played Myst at my best friend's house, and, that, as they say, was history.

Just turned eighteen last week.
Earliest game I remember playing was the old Sonic on the Sega. But I think the first game I finished properly was the first Spyro game on the PSX.
On a side note, I'm studying Games Design at university ^-^ Tis fun!

Well into my 30's, in my teens, I should be out having fun but instead I spent it playing BG. Bioware robbed me of my teens :P

I am a few months after my 29th birthday. Looks like I am an average-aged DA:O gamer. And I agree, the game really tends to address more mature audiences, which is one of Bioware's biggest assets in the games industry.
