Pretty much in the middle. 36, started gaming back in the early 80s on the Atari 2600 and Intellivision, later got hooked on RPGs for the Apple IIe. Bioware has probably sucked in more hours of my life than any other game company.

*smacking SpellSAUR with a Nerf bat*

People over 40 do have lives, you know. *grinning* I'm 52 myself and have been gaming since the early PC text-based games. I plan to drag my computer to the retirement home, the nursing home, the hospital and the grave. *lol*

Why do young people have issues with older gamers.

I'm in my 30s. I had an Atari system and a Commodore 64. My Dad is in his 60s and spent $200 on a machine that plays Pong back in the 70s.

He has since branched out to a 360 as well as games for his PC.

Games are not just for kids now. Older gamers are a growing demographic. The youngsters need to learn to live with it. We are not going away.

43. I was a gamer literally from day 1. I had an original pong - now long gone. I still remember buying the very first Ultima that came in a zip lock bag with just a disk and a piece of paper. I still have it some place. That first Ultima is what started my long love affair with CRPGs.

Really enjoyed DAO but thought Awakening was not very good and a bug fest to boot. I barely made 1 play through and removed it from my computer. Awakening was very disappointing in both quality and content.
