I think attractive males are difficult to make in this game overall. I've tried about 10 different male elves and only succeeded twice. The first was using Soris as a template for a CEM (and even he wasn't great, since he lacked Soris's personality) and the second was my DEM:
Ron is more than success...he is magic.

EDIT: Here's my own DEM. I wanted to go for a more rugged rather than pretty handsome.

I apologise if the picture quality is bad.

As a side note how do you play your elven characters? personality wise?
Elven Mage, City Elf and Dahlish would all have differant perspectives (Im personaly biased against the Dahlish since they come off as Terrorists kind of mindset to me)
The next game im gonna run is a neutral evil/Ruthless game and I kinda want a decent looking elf. Not sure on class though. Leaning towards Warrior. Let me say though again I love the posts so far.

use standard form then click on the url button its easy enough lol.
So I made a copy of the Irish Dark Elf as a Dahlish and a variation with white hair as a city elf. They both look pretty sinister in game.

Well thats ones pretty
@Jestina, I agree in most mediums Elves are all pretty and such. In my childrens book the elves are all stunty deformed goblin things that use faerie magic to look beautiful.

If you're talking Christmas Elves, those originate from Elizabethan fiction. The Tolkienesque Elves used in most fantasy settings originate from Celtic and Norwegian mythology. Tolkien Elves didn't really have overly pointed ears either...he was a little vague on that aspect. Most of the huge pointed ears on Elves come from anime...and i've never really cared for that.

Rugged Elves?Never heard of that one. I don't know how the Elves in DA are about that....but in most genres Elves do not scar. They are usually pretty and lithe. In some genres(like Tolkien I think), it's difficult for outsiders to tell the male Elves from the females.
Well, I tend to see the elves in DA as products of a difficult and dangerous world where they are at best tolerated, thus I don't think they should necessarily be overly pretty - not like in Tolkienesque fiction again. Maybe they didn't scar in the days of Arlathan, but those days are long since passed. This is just how I view them though, and I'm as partial as anyone to a pretty elf!

(Had to toy with the contrast/brightness, but you get the idea)
I don't think he turned out too badly. I was trying to capture Galahan (an OC from my fanfic, The Hunt), but the the hair colour is way too orange.
