Ah Gwen, naive little girl, naive and reckless as always. I know it was a horryfing experience for her to go through that, but I felt pure satisfaction as a sheltered girl like her realized just what the world really was and became a woman. Though why wouldn't her greatest desire be to save her parents?

As for Farren's dream, incredible, just incredible.

Yes, I put a lot of thought into Faren's nightmare, because I had to make sure not to reveal too much while still offering sufficient hints so as to avoid people being too judgmental towards him. That kind of slaughter is nothing to be joked about after all and it's kind of hard to make someone sympathize with a killer without actually explaining anything about what may have actually happened.



And this made it all the more difficult since the only hints I gave were assumptions that the other dwarf made and which may or may not be accurate.

I believe I learned a great deal from you in this chapter, about writing that is. I don't have a problem with what Faren did in the Nightmare, cause it was a Nightmare so obviously it was something he wouldn't have done in reality. As for others that he killed...well he was a thug, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he actually tortured someone to death nor would I pass judgement for it. Life's a jungle and for the castless this is almost literal.

Okay, onto the matter at hand. First order of business:

The event that this nightmare alludes to isn't exactly torture, although there was one very specific person that he tortured to death. It should have been made obvious who it was during the birthday conversation.



What this other really bad experience was will be revealed quite a bit later, and bit by bit. Well, to the readers at least. Faren has had one of the ****tiest lives of all wardens, if not THE worst, and he still hasn't seen the last of it I'm afraid.

Which is how it is supposed to be. I can't think of any worse life then that of a casteless in Orzammar.

Good, good......maybe a bit too cheesy with the Faren side, but eh, very few FFs just give me the same reaction I get when watching a very emotional scene in a movie, so good job.

I still play WoW, and it really doesn't take away much of my time though it did take away most of it for about 2 months just after I restarted it.

My biggest reason for even starting to write was that I had nothing better to do. Now new games are coming out ( Fallout New Vegas for instance ).

Mhh, I am not a big fan of chapters almost entirely devoted to character drama, but eh you did it well.

AND LOL at Leliana. Raonar also shocks everyone AGAIN with his little speech at the end, but eh that's something taken for granted. "Chuckle"

I like the way your story is progressing...but reading the chapters...well they are just too much in terms of words.

I also feel you spend too much time depicting the action and too little depicting the background. So in that sense it's hard to get inersed when reading.

So why is Wynne using the high names? Seems kind of pretentious. Coincidentally, that seems perfectly in character.
