That's awesome! Yours is a city I always wanted to see.

Thanx!

I recentely understood tourists like some things at my city I wouldn't think of.
It's because I see those things every day,and I'm used to them while others see them for first time.

Well it really is!
There are 3.5 million people living here!

That's 30% of the total population of the whole country!

Just look at the space it is taking from nature! (The  grey thing at the center surrounded by mountains)

Image IPB

Villagers are moving to the Capital city expecting to find new/better jobs, but there are not enough.
Also add 2 millions of immigrants.

Roman times. 2000 years the oldest structure. Doesn't beat the beauty of some other Istrian historical centers. Interestingly though, Izola was once an Island (from there the name)... in the 20s the walls were crashed and the island brought together with the land. I was searching for a picture about Izola as an island for several times, but no luck yet.

yeah, florida. the first (where i was born) is Tampa, FL and the others are Gainesville FL, home of the university of Florida Gators.

i do envy those of you everywhere else though because there are so many amazing historic sites and almost none of them are here in america.

i've had some crappy layovers in casper a few times while the freeway and surrounding highways were closed due to whiteout blizzards. i'd rather be shut down in cheyenne, sheridan, or gilette. laramie can eat cow dung. on

another note, there's a female kickboxer from casper. she fights in an organization based in denver called kickdown. a couple years ago at a kickdown MMA event, i saw her beat up some woman based out of ft. carson. she ended up knocking her out in the third round by way of a head kick.

EDIT: here is leslie smith in the third round against brandon "the truth" vera's wife, kerry.

There's alot of history in Oslo, used to be known as Kristiania. Most of the more popular history is rooted in world war two.

I was born and grew up in a very beautiful place in NZ, called Whangarei. I think I was very lucky.

Now I live in another beautiful place. Donegal, Ireland. Both places have remote and wonderful beaches, but NZ has the warmer weather to make use of the beaches. :D

Since everyone and his dog has seen Paris, I am going to post my third (the second is btw Stockholm – got to try to get my next contract there) favorite city in the world (Haven’t been in the States yet, so it may change)  – St Pete,  RF, which is totally great but largely unvisited (for the city of this size and coolness) because of the insane visa requirements…

Yes Adriano, I believe that too. I was very lucky to have had my childhood there. :) We were able to do a lot of wonderful outdoor stuff .

I'm not a fan of Casper as it's very cold in the winter, damn hot in the summer and the wind blows constantly..  I would however rather be here than Gillette or Cheyenne, Sheridan is pretty nice however, at least for scenery and yes, Laramie is craptastic, worst city in the state minus Jackson Hole  (I just hate the vibe there)

Also I've seen Leslie fight, she's damn good, not Vera good, but good.. That was a pretty bad matchup for her :pinched:

wyoming is something else during the cold time of the year. the littlest indescretion while driving on snow covered, icy roads will send somebody to the ditch or median. the last time i was in wyoming, i had entered by way of US16 from custer, sd, hit the highway south out of newcastle, and then followed it to i-25. i was on my way to colorado springs with a load of corrosive materials that i picked up out of rapid city, sd. i had to stop before hitting the interstate due to a damn snowstorm. luckily there was a small sinclair just less than a mile east of the freeway, and i was one of four drivers stuck there for a couple of days. oh yeah, i also hate the wind. sudden gusts that have sent many truckers off the road, or caused them to roll over.

i was impressed with leslie in her fight against some fort carson gal. i thought the chick stationed at fort carson was going to beat her up pretty bad. it ended up being quite the opposite. for a girl, she throws some mean kicks with lots of pop in them. i wouldn't mind doing some body karate with her. as for kerry vera, my bestfriend's wife trains with her in san diego, ca. away from the gym, kerry is a nice lady. in the gym, she's mean as hell! i envy brandon. i bet that chick is something else entirely behind closed doors.

that's a nice little town on the north side of US101, directly across the waterway from victoria, b.c. a few months ago i made a delivery to costco out there. their round-a-bout is the first one i've been through that seems to have been made with semi-trucks in mind. the lanes were wide enough to avoid having my trailer off-track into the inside lane. that drive along US101 is very pretty. the same goes for the drive into port townsend. i once had a pick-up at the georgia pacific paper mill. whoever their local pizza joint is, it's great! :D
