Has anybody else had troubles with the game failing to recognize input from the mouse wheel. 

I cannot zoom in and out with the wheel, and I cannot scroll lists in the interface menus.  The game also doesn't respond to mouse wheel input on the Controls menu, though middle click works correctly.

The wheel works perfectly in every other program.  it's a standard Microsoft mouse, the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000.

You'd have to look around here.. ( could be a task as the search doesn't seem to work ) but I read that its something to do with MS mice. I think uninstalling the intellimouse drivers and using generic ones fixes the problems for most people.
