OK, I just discovered this. It makes Insanity VERY easy. It requires a bit of cheating, but if you don't want cheating, DON'T LISTEN. I am just sharing a method I found that can make Insanity not nearly as hard as what it normally is. That said, let us continue.

First, you'll want to have beaten the game once. This way, you get all the bonuses for minerals and money. Importing an ME2 character is not needed, and is actually inferior to my method. This way, you can do upgrades to yourself and the ship for the Suicide Mission with ease.

You will need:

•class: Sentinel
•DLC: Kasumi - Lost Memory
•A bit of experience.
•Garrus' Loyalty in a previous playthrough.
•The extra "Armor Piercing Ammo" power.

The following is optional:
-------------------------------------------

Now, when you start the game, play through as you normally would, and use Armor Piercing Ammo heavily. and do Kasumi's loyalty mission first and get the M-12c Locust SMG. However, DO NOT USE SQUAD POINTS. Save your squad points for later. It might make things difficult, but the payoff is the reward.

Now, once you have TEN squad points, do this:

•Go to Xbox Dashboard
•Go to Settings
•Go to Memory
•Highlight your Hard Drive, and press Y
•Choose "Clear Cache"
•Select "Yes"
•Once the Cache is cleared, load the game

Now, when you load the game it will ask you to update. DO NOT UPDATE. This will, however, render you disconnected from Xbox Live until you do update. Don't worry about it, it's nothing bad. Now, here's what you do:

•Pause
•Go to "Squad"
•Find whatever power you can use squad points, and upgrade up to THREE.
•Highlight "4"
•Press X+A simultaneously
•Upgrade the power to whatever you want (EX: Squad Disruptor Ammo/Heavy Disrupter Ammo)

Now, when you return, you have upgraded that power, but still have all 10 points! If this didn't work, back out of the screen that has you choose what to upgrade the power to and press X (just in case).

Now, repeat the above process until all powers are upgraded.

-------------------------------------------

However, do these in specific:

•Upgrade Tech Armor to Assault Armor
•Upgrade Armor Piercing Ammo to Tungsten Ammo
•Upgrade Warp/Throw to Heavy Warp/Throw

When you're done, you will have a fully upgrades Shepherd, with abilities fit to tear through the game! Do so with squadmates, as well. When you apply the update again, this trick will be patched, and you will have to clear the cache again.

Now, set these:

•LB = Armor Piercing Ammo
•RB = Anything else (Suggest Warp, Throw, or Overload)

Now, get AT THE LEAST these upgrades:

•SMG Damage (3/5)
•SMG Shield Piercing (Very Important)
•SMG Extra Rounds (Suggested, not necessary)

Now, you have fully upgraded abilities, and a very accurate and powerful gun that can rip through SHIELDS AND ARMOR. This set of upgrades and abilities will make the game a breeze, the Locust killing most enemies in one well aimed clip, and the Assault Armor protecting you.

I do not recommend training in Assault Rifles at the Collector Ship. I suggest shotguns, but you can do snipers if you want. The Locust still is an all-in-one, so all of these are unnecessary.

Well, that's my easy guide to Insanity. How you play the game is up to you, but this is a setup that will tear through the game  Apply the update before the Suicide Mission, so the Achievement appears with a date. I hope this helps, and please don't flame, I stated that at the beginning for crying out loud.

I had it underlined that if you don't like it, keep it to yourself. Nonetheless, it doesn't mean you won't die, I should know. I've beaten the game four times, twice on normal, once on hardcore, and another on Insanity, without this method. I discovered this method last night, and I was just sharing it for the benefit of others who may want to know.

Regardless of the X+A method, I stated a setup that you can do without. If you DON'T want to do the X+A method, don't, but just follow what else I said. It's not like I'm saying "o looky here, x + a glitch and dats it, ur set! hur hur" <_<
