I'm running a Core 2 Duo 4400, Nvidia 8800GT, 6 GB of Ram, Vista @ 1920 x 1080 with Max settings and it stutters quite a bit during combat on the more detailed main plot missions.
I've tried reducing the settings but nothing really seems to have an effect.
Anyone running smooth?
Any have smooth gameplay at high res (1920x1080+)?

Geforce 9600 GT
2 GB RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0 Ghz
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
I haven't played Mass Effect 1 that much using my 1080p monitor but I got 60 frames per second on Eden Prime at 1920x1080. I'm in an exam period at the moment but I'll play some more Mass Effect soon and tell you what framerates I get in other areas.
Reducing the graphical settings does nothing. Only the resolutions have an effect on the performance.

I get fairly frequent stutters at 1600 x 900 (Athlon 64 x2 2.1 Ghz, Radeon 4770), never mind 1080p. I think ME1 is pretty CPU dependent.

That's what I was afraid of. Seems to be the trend with console ports
