If you do his loyalty mission after Omega4, you can leave him to burn assuming you took the paragon path.

It's an additional gun, but it's also an additional person that can get gunned down.Forst1999 wrote...
Very interesting! Thanks for making this guide. I think it's rather strupid that the "Hold the Line"-section is based on an average value. How can an additional gun be a bad thing? But ok, i'm happy to know how it actually works now.
Yes, as long as you set it up so that no one dies holding the line (2.0+ hold the line average or greater) or at the final boss/escort.Lusitanum wrote...
Small question: can I make complete loyalty missions even after finishing the game? I know I can make secondary missions but can I just leave Legion's loyalty quest for later so that half of my crew doesn't die?

Hold the Line becomes easier for everyone to survive the fewer people there are. It's weird, but that's the way it works. It appears you only missed a few opportunities to get people killed.JohnnyDollar wrote...
I had a playthrough one time where I used Jack as the first fire team leader, Jacob for the vents, Mordin as the escort, Garrus as the second fire team leader, and Thane for the bubble. Mordin and Jacob were unloyal among a couple of the others. I did not activate Legion.
The only ones that died were Jacob in the vents (headshot closing the door), Mordin who escorted, and Grunt by a seeker swarm.

The Tech Specialist dies in that situation, the first fire team leader never dies.JohnnyDollar wrote...

What I thought was strange was that Jack didn't die as the first team leader.

Ok, I believe I know the answer to this, but just to make sure. Even if the tech specialist is loyal and the appropriate one for the job(Kasumi, Tali, Legion), she/it still dies if either Jacob, or Garrus, or Miranda is not the 1st team leader?Ecael wrote...

They're bad at ordering people to provide cover fire, apparently. Although they should have just had the tech specialist get hit by the Harbinger bolt without the door jamming if they were loyal Tali, Kasumi or Legion.Pacifien wrote...

I've had my Shepard catch Grunt before. Guess all that extra krogan weight makes him fall easier. Good think Cerberus upgraded Shepard a bit 'cause I don't think a normal human could have caught him.

A) Yes. Save the Derelict Reaper mission until the very last, after you've recruited and done the loyalties of everyone else. After you've obtained the IFF, do not go to the Galaxy Map. Head straight for the AI core to activate Legion. After you have your first conversation with him, speak to him again. He will give you his loyalty mission. You will be able to finish that loyalty mission and then you'll get the shuttle sequence that precedes the crew getting kidnapped.Lumikki wrote...
Okey, few question.
A) Can Legions loyalty quest done, without some crew members dying? If I will have this squad structure, can I survey without deads.
1. Jacob (loyal), First and second team leader
2. Miranda
3. Grunt
4. Garrus
5. Jack (loyal) Bionic expert and the end boss
6. Mordin (loyal) Escort
7. Tali (loyal) Vent expert and the end boss
