Evidently 10.6.4 has some graphics regressions (see macrumors). For DAO, the conversation shading is now much more prominent (almost opaque). Anyone else seeing this?

From what I've read only Nvidia cards are involved. I have not noticed any problems on my iMac with ATI graphics.

Yep, and it appears that the newer ones are the worst. 10.6.4 is a major regression. I've seen video corruption and other issues across the board.

Could installing different Nvidia drivers solve the problem or is this problem built into OSX?

That could help if their were different Nvidia drivers. So far, there are only separate drivers for the GTX285 available.Marvin_Arnold wrote...

I'll have to watch my software upgrader closely then... luckily still at 10.6.3...
