artwork (as with the main comic series) is horrendous - the poses are stiff and out of place, the colouring is off, the character acts out-of-character again, they should really stop this - it's damaging the brand.

Another biotic superhero story. Why is that every sci-fi setting in the last decade starts as a science-based military-plausible setting and, usually with an influx of kiddies and teens, degrades down to a story of super-powered, over-the-top and uninteresting characters?

I just read the comic. I really enjoyed this. It gives us a great chance to see how combat-ready Aria is. I'll make sure to recruit her in ME3.

Perhaps Aria used pull and then warp on it... and she might be an extremely powerful biotic.  Also... it is a comic and is supposed to be over the top.

Also no one could lift a harbinger drone because of the so called "protection system".

Would they really spend the money on massive amounts of squadmate lines for aria considering it's trinity? I doubt she'll be a me3 squadie

I'd rather see Alejandro Jodorowsky(writer) and Juan Jimenez(artist) do the comic.

The Metabarons are full of win.

I suspect that in the unlikely event that Aria winds up as a squadmate, her ability to quickly take out a Praetorian will go the way of Jack's dispatching three YMIR mechs.

I'm also not sure I really understand Aria's motivations in this story. As I recall, the Collectors have been buying people in small quantities on places like Omega for quite a while-- it's only the wholesale kidnapping of colonies that's new. Aria's vociferously objecting seems out of character for the queen of a wretched hive of scum and villainy, let alone getting her hands dirty over it.

Especially with a large, armed ship of unknown capabilities docked nearby. Backed by a civilization that can send forces through a mass relay in Omega's own system, one that Aria can't retaliate through.

(Granted, assuming that certain surmises about her history with an ME squadmate are true, it wouldn't be the first time she'd shown a humanitarian side. But even that was more a matter of not intentionally endangering innocents than going all superhero to save them, at an unknown risk to her own interests.)

Cool. To OP, page 6 link is a repeat of page 5.

1. Aria is Omega.
2. Nobody screws with Aria.
3. The Collectors are screwing with Omega.
4. The Collectors are screwing with Aria.
5. See point no. 2

Yes it's a weak plot, but it's just an excuse to attract more players to the Mass Effect games :innocent:

I agree, Aria isn't a total black heart.

I would like to see more of her in ME3 and a her/Wrex encounter

Aria shoved a grenade down the Collector's throat and used throw to launch it into the praetorian. That's why it exploded.

In that case, I want some of those grenades. :-)

On the contrary, why would they go to the extent of recruiting such talent, only to cast her off as a side note? I mean, she helps you out with a few missions with a healthy dose of personal opinion. That's hardly appropriate use of star talent. It'd be like using Seth Green to voice the farmer on Eden Prime and then telling him to go home.

I think her acting a minor character in ME2 was just to secure her interest and reel her back in for the grand finale. Not to mention she's billions of times less annoying than Jack. She's a much more preferable Renegade squad mate.

And one thing's for sure: even if she isn't a squad mate, this definitely isn't the last we've seen of her.

Yeah, sorry.  When I made my topic I realized I got Ninja'd by the OP, I stopped proofreading, and I didn't notice that those links were repeats.  Image IPB

Though it pains me to say it (as a JJM fanboy), I enjoyed that a great deal more than Redemption (a story that needed way, way more than four issues) I have to say.  Aria being illustrated in the iconic Trinity pose on page three was a nice touch by Francisco. :D

And "Nobody screws with Aria"? Heh. I guess the translators toned it down a notch this time.... Pity.

Great.
Aria is more powerfull then adept shepardt and jack together.

Kill a harbinger clone and a pretorian just with biotics...

She's playing on easy. :P

Besides, we all know that the biotics are way more powerful than the gameplay would suggest. Remember Jack's introduction? I never saw her doing anything that cool in gameplay. Especially on Insanity. <_<

I don't see how the comic makes sense with the existing story. She acts surprised whenever the Collectors are mentioned in Redemption and ME2. Now she's known all along? What the heck? It's just going to add more contradictions to the the story - smells like a retcon to me.

In the first game they were powerfull.(in the sense of controlling the enemy rather then raw damage)
It was at least possible to lift an enemy like the geth prime or a ymir(i would guess a heavy mech is smaller then a geth armature)

Enjoyable, although killing a praetorian with a grenade? Oh well, Jack destroyed 3 heavy mechs after waking up...

Just read Incursion then read over the part in Redemption when her and Liara talk about the Collectors. It definitely makes sense that she would freak out when hearing the Collectors want Shepard's body, especially after knowing that the Collectors are targeting humans. All in all, I think these little stories told through comics is a cool idea to keep expanding on the ME universe. The artwork isn't phenomenal, but they're not the worst thing I've ever seen either.

I just hope that they expand this Incursion comic. Eight pages?  C'mon!  There's so much potential here.

What did Aria do once she learned Collectors were targeting humans? Were there more Collector trades on Omega she interfered in? What happened to those surviving Blue Suns?

I smell more issues!  :D

I wouldn't go that far. Overall it's pretty good with nice coloring and only a few odd looking panels.
