Just a friendly suggestion: could we see a bit more text to go along with all these pics? Telling us why a villain is your favorite would be nice. Some of these characters will not be recognizable to everyone by appearance alone. I know I can't name them all, let alone have any idea why they were great villains.

Another great villain was Ghaleon from Lunar. He was great because even though many villains like to pretend that they're acting in the greater good, Ghaleon's beliefs truly did seem legitimate. He felt that the lack of a God in human civilization would result in it's collapse. He actually had a good case too since humanity's former homeworld, the blue star was destroyed by humanity's reckless use of magic and it was the Goddess Althena who saved humanity and relocated them to their new world.

He felt that by Althena becoming mortal it would result in humanity repeating their past mistake.

Ghaleon was a great character. Lunar and more than that, Lunar: Eternal Blue were amazing games. He was undeniably one of the most interesting villains in JRPGs I played, and had a genuinely shocking almost anti-hero conversion in the second game. I still remember my shock floored when Ghaleon reappeared in Eternal Blue.

Natla, from the Tomb Raider series. I couldn't really think of a better one. I'd post the PS1 version for humor value, but two pics is enough I guess. I can't really think of why I like her actually, aside from the fact that she's... (slightly) cunning evil. I bet most people have no idea what the games are, but oh well.

This SPECIFIC version of the Joker, not that I don't love most of them, but Hamill's portrayal of Joker in the DCAU is by far the best IMHO.  Both playful and funny and yet frightening and sociopathic at the same time...and that LAUGH.  God, it was glorious nightmare fuel.



And my other favorite: 

Angelus, or Evil Angel from BtVS.  It's hard to make a for the Evulz character so well done and so perfectly frightening, and yet Joss Whedon and David Boreanaz did it:
