I have all weapons acheivements except shotgun. If I use shotgun to kill 150 "enemies" in simulation runs, will it count? I suspect not, but does anyone know for sure??

I have never attempted it, but it should. I mean while in game lore they are simulation they really are just standard enemies.

i used it to finish my sniper acheivement quite awhile ago.so yes they count as kills towards acheivements.

Sorry to necro but I just got the DLC and have been killing enemies in survival for 22 minutes with an assault rifle with no sign of an achievement. :/ Anybody know for sure you can get the achievement in there?

Nevermind, turns out they do count and the reason it was taking so long is I had my squad set to high assist. Setting them to defense only helped me get those achievements a lot faster.
