I noticed when I loaded my game today that the holographics on my pistol (and those of my companions) had stopped showing up!  I had only started playing today so I only have the pistol and the grenade launcher.  Anyways, upon loading and playing the second time today I noticed the holographics not showing up on the pistols and TEXTURE ERROR on my empty weapon slots.  I  have the STEAM version so everything should be up to date and patched up by now.
