I assume, since you mention "flemth's spells" that you're talking purely theoretically, rather than actual, in-game tactical?crono_clone wrote...
Who do you think will win in a magical duel?
Morrigan does have the advantage of knowing Flemeth's spells. She also has shapeshifting and most of her magic is combat-oriented.
Wynne, however, is no slouch either. She's a senior enchanter of the Circle and was one of the few to survive Ostagar. Her Vessel of the Spirit ability can give her quite a boost.
What do you guys think?
In that case, theoretically, Morrigan would probably win. Keep in mind that Wynn's conformist nature is a major limitation. She won't resort to unorthodox tactics (like blood magic, for example.) to gain the edge she needs. And spending her life as a senior enchanter in the Circle means she probably doesn't know anything about becoming an arcane warrior.
Morrigan, on the other hand, Grew up in the *wilds*. She knows combat and warfare. She's got "street smarts" (ok, forest smarts if you prefer) lol. But as she admits, she is no healer, so if Wynn can get to her early, Morrigan could be in big trouble.
But I doubt it would go that way. The fight would probably see Morrigan employing offense, and Wynn employing defense. In such a matchup, Youth typically beats out old age.

Wynne easily because she has more defensive spells, but mainly regenerative spells that keep her mana pool in a good condition. Wynne will put up a force field--allow Morrigan to throw all of her spells, which will just drain her mana. After Morrigan is all but drained, Wynne will use some of her less lethal spells to finish off a tired Morrigan. I don't think its a match at all--Wynne also has more experience than Morrigan (in both age and magic). If Morrigan did train in the circle, she would've probably been more powerful, but we have seen that the circle mages are pretty powerful (Ulrich, Warden Mage, and Wynne).
If Wynne puts up a force feild do you think that Morrigan will be dumb enough to keep using spells until she's tired while it's up? Wynne might have more experience because she's older and has been training longer but if Morrigan did train in the circle, she'd probably be even weaker because she would just have some nobody mage pupil instead of having the legend Flemeth teach her.
Now what I see happening is if this is end game Morrigan would probably win because Wynnes offensive spells suck and if Morrigan sets up a cone of ice and a winters grasp at a good enough point (say when Wynne doesn't have rejuv up and after a lightning/drain life) then wynnes dead. Now this is if Morrigan does have some healing abilities, but it won't be easy and will probably take a long time to set it all up right.
Yes, because a force field/shield (i.e. arcane shield/rock armor) isn't really noticeable and can shrug off damage pretty well. You also assume that Wynne is just going to be standing behind some wall doing nothing she will probably be throwing spells at Morrigan--who will panic not knowing what to do against such a strong defense. Morrigan doesn't have any defense other than maybe drain life. If this is true, Wynne's variety/strong defense will ultimately win. Even with Flemeth's powers, Wynne still has the spirit of the fade, which I think is probably a stronger force.
