I was curious to see which game was the most popular out of the games Bioware has to offer so I decided to make a poll.

http://social.biowar...156/polls/7083/

Enjoy and discuss.

Also bonus points for those who answer the bonus question.

What was your first Bioware game?

Even though I've barely played it, it has to be BG2. I love the voices for the player characters, especially the one I use. "Just point me in the right direction!" :D

Plus it's a type of game that rarely exists anymore, and it's a real shame.

I should try and find a copy of BG 1 & 2, never played those. I finally finished my copy of Jade Empire, for some reason I couldn't get into it when I originally picked it up but after giving it a chance I kicked myself for doing that.

Neverwinter Nights 1

Played it for probably like 7 years now.

And no...I don't mean the actual campaign that came with the game but rather online worlds designed by the players themselves. That way the game can go on forever...and it did...

ME1 is and probably will always be my favorite. The story is amazing, and the overall experience is something that not even it's sequel could match. It amuses me that people on these forums prefer ME2, because every single person I know in real life prefers the first.

It's a really tough call between Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age Origins. When I think about it Dragon Age seems like the better game but my favoritism of the sci-fi genre brings my instincts towards Mass Effect 2.

Again, it's a really tough call, but I'll say Dragon Age Origins.

Mass Effect because it never gets old.

Jade Empire is a fun ride, though it's way too short. Once the plot thickens you can't put it down.

Baldur's Gate Saga will remain the most epic gaming experience ever, it's not something you want to play 24/7, but once every year. It's like the Star Wars and Back to the Future trillogy.

I vote for Baldur's Gate too! Specially now that i installed the tutu mod and fused together BG1 and BG2, making it one gigantic game (BG1 with BG2's engine, yay!) :D

Neverwinter Nights, for numerous reasons I repeated ad nauseum on this forum. XD My first BioWare game was Baldur's Gate.

Baldur's Gate 2 is my favourite. It has it all; camaraderie, adventure, steel on steel, the stuff of legends :) I don't love the rule system or the engine so much, but the writing on it is fantastic.

My first Bioware game was BG1.

My first Bioware game was BG1 as well. It was the game that made me a Bioware fan. :)

I have a very strong feeling that if I'd played Dragon Age, it would be the winner here, but I haven't gotten around to starting it yet. As such, I'm abstaining from voting on the poll for now.

Oh, I forgot to mention my first one. BG2 followed by KotOR and then NWN, I believe.

this and i also LOVE the first knights of the old republic. both of those games were replayed more than 10 times and still left me with a smile. ME2 was/is commercial garbage. i don't think bioware will make quality games since they're now owned by EA. EA is the great destroyer of game studios and franchises. all they care about is money. quality takes the backseat with them.

Neverwinter Nights is doing good for 10 year old game :-P

Especially considering this forum is mainly for Dragon Age and Mass Effect players.

Also despite that this is mainly a hangout for single player gamers while NWN..even though...not being bad at single player...really shines in multiplayer...

(Also I think all the games on the list in the poll except NWN are single player games.)

Wow. Neverwinter Nights is pulling second place behind Mass Effect 2? That's impressive. Sweet. :) NWN and Jade Empire are usually treated as the black sheep of BioWare's line-up.

Hard to pick, as i have all, of the newest it's Dragon Age, however, due to lack of time, i been unable to play BG2 and NWN, but i would say the classics are the best.

Baldur's Gate II, because even though I've been playing and re-playing it regularly since it was released, I still find new, cool things in it.
