I loved the Baldur's Gate Series and played them over and over with mods and everything. :) I've recently started Mass Effect and have enjoyed that too. I want to play DAO and Mass Effect 2, but don't have a computer that can handle them. :(

That said, I have spent literally 1000s of hours on NWN and it has become a creative outlet for me. I've also made many friends there. NWN is the best game ever IMO. :)

oh . . . . naner naner. :D

Here in the UK you can go into a supermarket and buy nwn brand new still. It's marketed in the games for laptops range. Try that with any other game more than 2 years after release. Legacy game indeed! DAO didn't even have the editor on disk!

So yeah. NWN definitely.

I do very much like Dragon Age, but like others I have to go with Neverwinter Nights. Not so much for the OCs and Premium Mods (which I played once), but for enabling and empowering such an extraordinary modding community in such a groundbreaking way.

I'm not getting the NWN love. It was the first Bioware game I played, and I'm at all saying it was bad, but really, I can remember just about nothing from that game. It seemed pretty meh to me.

The OC's weren't all that great.  What made NWN great was the toolset which allowed players to create their own modules far better than any of the OC's Bioware ever put out.

My first Bioware game is Neverwinter Nights. Not the OC, but the story of both expansion and the community-made modules. I have played it more around 7 years and love it.

For the other games, I'm not much a fan of sci-fi. So nope for KoToR and ME serious. Jade Empire is just too console-oriented to my taste.

I have put my vote on Dragon Age, though. It allows multiples outcomes and it unlocks the potential to custom my character as I like.

Dragon Age: Origins.

My first game was Baldur's Gate, the day it was released all those many years ago.

Neverwinter Nights,

Or show me a Game where you can create your own world, run a group of friends through the story together, and adapt it on the fly, as your in there as a DM.

I'll have to go with the BG trilogy ('though I prefer D&D 3.5). Runner-ups would be a tie between KotOR and DA:O.

So you clicked single player right? Then you didn't play anything besides the tutorial.

NWN 1. Love it. I barely played the OC stuff, but love PWs, and love building for Shadow Mountain.

I might not know everything, but fairly certain neither of those qualify as bioware made games.

NWN retains my vote.

Hmmm...okay, I first got into BioWare with the first Baldur's Gate, then BGII, Icewind Dale, and then *drum roll* Neverwinter's Nights I. I love BGI&II because the stories, to date, have yet to be beaten (IMMHO). However, NWN was the first computer game I ever played where you could have some customization of your PC; I also loved it for the stories (although not the best, they were good), and the RPG factor; and although any from the NWN community is aware of how deaf, blind and dumb I am regarding the toolset, I do love it for the toolset because it allows those talented members of our community to create even more awesomely wonderful mods.

I LOVE DA:O, have a love/hate relationship with DA:A (I want to like it, I really do, but it lacks what you play a RPG for - the role play!). I love how you can really customize your PC, and the multiple origins and end games - truly an awesome RPG.

However, NWN remains my all-time fav.
