Hi,
I was interested in purchasing Mass Effect One, and am wondering
if i deactivate the install limits, would i be able to also
remove SecuROM and still be able to play the game?
Or, would I have to keep SecuROM after deactivating the install limit?
Thanks alot!
SecuROM required to play?

I don't know what you mean by deactivating the install limit.
You can deactivate an installation's activation with the EA Deauthorization tool, yes, which means you get 1 activation credit back. (And that computer can no longer play it; if you run it again it'll authorize itself again and you'll be back down 1 credit.) The system as a whole remains.
The Steam version has had the SecuROM protection removed, BTW.

The latest patch (or was it the first?), I believe, also negates the need to have a disc in the drive.
