Grunt's battlemaster comment was like the cherry on top after the sweet greeting Wrex gave me upon arriving on Tuchanka. But I think I need to think of something else to say about why I like Grunt so much beyond "He's such a happy krogan! How can you resist happy krogan!"
I did mention on the Thane thread recently that I actually found Grunt to be rather eloquent when you're having conversations with him on the Normandy. His discovery of krogan pride when looking upon the images from the Battle of Canrum were nice.

The really bad thing is that "after everything is over" Grunt will likely still be very young in Krogan terms.  However will he ever see any battles as grand as those he's getting now??? ... Will his enemies ever measure up to the Reapers, Collectors, and their allies????

I suspect in Krogan Culture it's terrible when you peak so young -- There's simply nothing that can compare that you could look forward to.

Not mine, but this sums up exactly why I love Grunt the most. His request isn't out of anything more than just pure emotion. And his mission leaves you with a grin on your face, rather than a tear or smile.

As I was drinking my coffee this morning trying to come up with something to ask people... it hit me. I should ask them about whether their favorite character drank tea or coffee in the morning. So what does Grunt drink in the morning... tea or coffee (or Krogan coffee... which coffee with a shot or ryncol in it)? How does he take it and why?

Grunt only drinks the blood of his enemies! Although he prefers Turian blood in the morning.

Grunt is probably the only squadmate that made me laugh on multiple occasions, even in dark scenes. Such as the Omega plague, where he states he's hungry after seeing the burning corpses.

yeah, that's true. in Citadel, he mention food at ramen shop (noodle looks like worms?). that was funny. IFF mission, he was hungry too. he is my favorite mate who I always bring to mission. he is very loyal even though he is very simple. I like him.

Well, of course Wrex is irreplaceable... But I think Grunt is amazing, with his air-quotes and loyalty mission (yay Thresher Maw!)... And I can imagine his relationship if both of them will be in ME3 aboard Normandy. Kinda like... father-son relationship I think

But well.. He's a pure krogan. I'm in awe!

The other day I took Grunt with me on Mordin's recruitment for the first time. Lol he had some funny remarks, you know with the plague and all. Recruit him first sometime if you haven't.

He drinks the blood of those that he killed. And eats them for breakfast.
