He's brilliant in combat and quite a decent written character.

How come we never had action figures with real "smash your enemies action"?

Just a thought that popped into my head. If Shepard wanted to expand Grunt's training a little more beyond Okeer's imprints and he didn't have the time to do it himself, who do you suppose he would assign to the task? I had a few in mind here. I would probably choose Zaeed, Garrus, or possibly Thane for hand to hand combat.
Probably Wrex.

Of course he isn't Wrex. I'm not sure what you're trying to say over here unless you're just being "The Spamming Troll"

Ahh...I was thinking more along the lines of someone aboard the Normandy but hey, I have nothing against Wrex.

I couldn't have said it better myself! It baffles me how people get it in their heads that because they really enjoyed a previous squad member they can't possibly like another. If someone doesn't like Grunt, and they want to voice their opinion I can respect that. They should have a valid reason though, not "He's no Wrex."

Yeah even with my soldier I used Grunt a lot. For just a kid he's a tough s-o-b.

man, i wouldnt think 3 little words could be so devestating......
kirk is the defining captain in star trek as wrex is the defining krogan in mass effect. grunt can easily be overlooked. if ME3 doesnt have grunt, its not much of a lose compared to those people who missed meeting wrex in ME1. grunt has one purpose, to kill. whopdie do. wrex is the king of the krogans. tell me one thing grunt ca do better then wrex. i shouldnt have to explain why grunt is no wrex.

This isn't a Grunt vs. Wrex thread there T.S.T. It's the Grunt support thread. If you don't like him it's no skin off of my teeth. I'm pretty dang sure Wrex himself is impressed with Grunt after his loyalty mission on Tuchanka. "shrug" whatever though.

I fail to see how Grunt is supposed to be a Wrex replacement, or how he is supposed to surpass Wrex, or fill Wrex's shoes. I do not understand why Wrex must be Grunt's measuring stick.
Grunt has a charm about him all his own. Quite frankly he's adorable. Wrex wins the awesome badge, Grunt wins the adorable badge.
