It doesn't say how krogans become biotic (just as it doesn't say how the turians, salarians, drell, etc. are made biotic either), so I wonder if the developers make the assumption that we'd know all but the asari obtain their biotics through in-utero eezo exposure.

As ravaged a world as Tuchanka is, I can imagine it is rife witth toxic eezo plumes everywhere anyway. Maybe not from the original nuclear holocaust, but I get the impression they've nuked themselves a few times over.

love the krogans, they're hilarious, and grunt is my fave char in me2 lol. he's so grouchy, yet he tries to make jokes too. and he charges everything when he's fighting lol, he's a reptilian leeroy jenkins.

my favorite random line from him is when shepard helps that injured salarian worker near the beginning of thane's recruiting mission at the base of the towers, and grunt just looks at shep helping the salarian and says with utter disgust, "Him? Really?" Such an **** thing to say, I loved it lol.

grunt and fem shep is a little too easy, though, i wanted to try something a little different. also, from a purely physical standpoint, i think a krogan would find a quarian more attractive than a human, due to the similar hands and legs.

if ur talking about grunt and male shep, well, that's a challenge indeed which someone else can tackle.

To be honest I am more interested in what after effect Grunt will have on Krogan as a species. After all, he is the perfect krogan Okeer wanted to make, yet he bares the marks of genophage.

I imagine since Okeer felt he couldn't cure the genophage (or simply didn't care to), and with Mordin claiming the purpose of the genophage was simply to keep the krogan numbers manageable, that Grunt's purpose was to demonstrate that the krogan would not need numbers to strike fear upon the galaxy. One pure krogan would do the work of many and would lay the groundwork for a stronger krogan army that did not depend solely on strength of numbers. I'm not exactly sure how Grunt was supposed to achieve this based on what we'd seen of him in the game. I would have been amused if he had made a good leader for the suicide mission.

well, grunt is still young and literally doesn't know what the hell he is doing. he's not some savvy veteran like okeer or wrex, i wouldn't expect him to be able to lead anyone anytime soon, haha.

i imagine if grunt was a leader on the SM, he'd just yell "SHOOT THEM!" and charge recklessly.

i had grunt as my 2nd squad leader in my 1st playthru. he didnt make it lol, and he got tali shot in the face too. good job, grunt!

People seem to think that just because he's a krogan, he is a Wrex replacement. To which I say "YOU HUMANS ARE ALL RACIST!"



I did think it was funny how if you ask Wrex about Grunt's problem when you don't have Grunt with you at the time he says something like "Huh, replaced me did you?"

Why can't Shepard say that he understands the humor/joy Grunt finds in the dead turian?

It was retribution for crimes committed and they were celebrating victory.

It may not exactly be gentlemanly but c'mon. Ghengis Khan did worse.



And then he's like, "YOU BETTER NOT HURT GARRUS" like Shep's their mother or something

tbf, though, shep is kinda like a father figure to grunt. or at least, an authority figure. he can't just let grunt do whatever he wants.
