I'm curious, if ME3 were to take palce a few years after ME2 then what would Grunt look like in ME3 ( providing that he returns for ME3 ).
It's my understanding that in ME2, Grunt is the equivialnt of a teenager. Will his Scales change in colour and apearance, will he get bigger. What about that plate on his head, all the other Krogan I hav ecome across have a very pointy crest on the top of thier heads while Grunts face is more round.
The main reason why I bring this up is because I like the way Grunt looks. It would be nice to see him change a bit from ME2 to ME3 but I don't want him to look like a generic Krogan.

Speaking of apparences.
Grunt's dlc armour; yay visors but more importantly, the symbol on his chest. Urdnot marking? Or (more likely) either an old marking from a defunct clan, or is it a new one for the Normandy clan?

Alright, Mass Effect Wiki states that Krogans fully armored usually weigh about 1 ton. How is that possible? and if its not (which i dont think it is) how much would you say they weigh?

I love Grunt and I must admit that I wasn't on board with him at first since we lost the uber awesome Wrex. He's like an adorable kid brother and was one of the only characters that made me laugh pretty hard...totally won me over!

Grunt has a quirky personality, but he definitely pales in comparison to Wrex, who's got the bad*ssery of all the toughest mofos combined. However, I think Grunt does grow as a character. I just wish they'd given him more dialogue to flesh out his character. Or atleast his own DLC to further explore his Krogan roots.
@ xRAYZORx,
Plenty of land animals weigh a ton or more, so there's nothing unreasonable about a fully-armored Krogan weighing that much.

I like both krogan squaddies. they share some characteristic (e.g. laughable) but differentiate in some ways. Grunt is cute.

Not meant to be an insult in any way... but I can't help but think that Grunt thinks of himself this way.

Since Shepard killed an entire system, would that make Shepard the greatest Battlemaster ever to Grunt?

Maybe, but yeah most likely.

The only other Battlemaster that Grunt would potentially follow would be Wrex. I can see that happening after Mass Effect 3 goes down.
Also, an interesting thought. Once the trilogy is complete, likely there will be other media/games that explore the ME universe in different time periods. Imagine a scenario maybe 500 years after the events of ME3, that would give you a cool chance to see how Grunt has grown over the years. I'd love to see how a mature, veteran Grunt would look. Assuming Urdnot surives through the centuries after Wrex passes, imagine a grizzled, battle-hardened (perhaps scarred) Grunt as the Clan leader, complete with fully formed, hardened Head plate. Badass.

Well I now own my own Grunt figure. He sits on my shelf right now alongside everyone else.
It's something no home should be without really, a tankbred krogan.
I wonder if Grunt will make any kind of appearance in Mass Effect 3 though.

I have my Grunt figure as well, sits right next to my laptop. He is awesome. I got a second one as well to leave in the packaging because I'm such a Krogan nut. Debating whether to paint the opened one with his black and orange loyalty armor.

Its easy to forget Grunt is a baby, until you see him next to the other Krogan. His skin is smoother and his head plate is not formed. Between Shep defending him against Uvenk and becoming his battlemaster, I can't help but think that Shep is the closest thing Grunt will have to a parent.
On another note, do you guys notice that when you open the tank Grunt seems much taller than Shep in the cutscene? But then when I am out on a mission it looks like Shep and Grunt have the same height. Maybe the game can't make him too tall because his head would stick out when taking cover?

Just had an awesome experience with Grunt on the derelict reaper. He was getting ready to charge a husk, yelling "I AM-" but I killed the husk and he finished with "worthless" without missing a beat. I had to pause the game from laughing so hard. Hope to have him in ME3.
