[Christmas Ape]

I have the sound files, believe me. I'm trying to see if I can re-arrange my Adium sound profile from GladOS to Grunt, just have to find the right samples. I just enjoy them most in context.



And yes, I've had "I get it now, Shepard!" I talk to Grunt about as often as I can; partly because he's awesome, partly because I've almost got his voice down.

I was recently doing some suicide mission testing and I can certainly tell you that getting everyone but one person to live is really, really hard! I'd certainly leave Grunt to hold the line, though. His "everything's gone FUBAR" comment is the greatest.

The fire time made it back to the ship safely. All were pleased, but Grunt. He had failed to convince the others to go and fight the Reaper baby and help Shepard.

Shepard has finished passing out the weapons.

Shepard: Okay, we just need to split up into two te--
Grunt: What is this?

Shepard: Look, it doesn't need to be military gra--

Grunt crushes the plastic gun like plasticine.

Shepard: Dammit, Grunt! I have a deposit on--

Shepard gets smacked in the head with a yellow paintball. From a distance he hears Garrus yell "Headshot!"

Shepard: Goddammit, Garrus!

Shepard turns to the source of the paintball to see Mordin looking innocently at the trees. Before he can say anything else, he gets smacked in the family jewels with another paintball. He hears Jack give a congratulatory "Nice..." as Tali reloads. Grunt looks down upon his battlemaster with disappointment.

Grunt: Useless.

So who thinks Grunt will be in ME3 as a squadie? I sure hope he is (crosses fingers).

Miranda is hardest to kill.  Grunt can hold the line by himself unloyal but he can die all the other ways the squadmates can on suicide missions.  Miranda is immortal until the final boss fight... and you have to take her with you to it unloyal to assure she dies.  If she is loyal... she can't die... period.

What makes me laugh about Uvank is that he complains that Grunt isn't really Krogan and then at the beginning of the fight he runs and hides in the corner (the exact opposite of every Krogan in game).

Uvenk is the worst Krogan I think I've ever seen. Smacked down by Wrex. Mocked by the Shaman. Smacked down by Shepard. Smacked down by Grunt. Runs and hides. Seriously, if he's the representative for the Gatatog Clan, Gatatog Clan sucks.

This why she has medium plot armor.  Here is the list of squadies with plot armor and their armor level.

light plot armor: Grunt (he can hold the line by himself even if he is not loyal).
medium plot armor: Miranda (can't die if loyal... period.  very very very difficult to kill if unloyal.), Garrus (game one suvivor but can die in game 2), Tali (same as Garrus).
heavy plot armor: Virmire survivor (if they survived the first game then they will make it into the third game).
massive plot armor:  Liara (she is immortal).

Now getting Miranda to die unloyal is much easier. Set up a situation where Mordin should have died Holding the Line. Since Miranda is unloyal, she'll die before him.
