Bioware has destroyed them :(
What gives?

(All signature pics are resized to mini as of today)

Edit: I get why the signatures are resized, it prevents people from having huge signatures that we can't see, but are loaded and thus slow down the forums. But, this is too small..

See here. For future references, web site specific questions are more likely to be answered (and should be asked) in the web site help forum.

Thank you, Bioware. I despise large signatures as I really do not give two craps about what Final Fantasy character someone is, or what they look like as a cartoon, or whatever other myriad of things they want me to know or see.

A signature should be just that - a signature. When you sign a document you do not draw a picture of some anime character, write some cryptic quote, and then toss in a few hyperlinks, yet that is what they have evolved (or devolved) into on the Internet.

You sir, are a bitter, bitter person.

Before today it had never even crossed my mind that people could find signature art, if it has an appropriate size, annoying.
I for one enjoy to make them, enjoy to see what others have made and they act as signposts when I'm browsing to a page of the forum quickly to look for something.

The fact you don't like them doesn't make you any less of a person than anyone else, the fact that you so clearly feel better than anyone who does enjoy it, does. At least in my humble opinion.

They were fine before... It was already smaller then any other forums I visit. Now it's extra mini, you'll be forcing me to be extra cute instead of elegant.... Oh well.

ooooooo this sounds like a fun challenge!

I had been wanting to make a sig but hadn't gotten around to it yet. The tiny size (probably just for now, as per that linked thread above) should make things very interesting... quality, not quantity, of pixels! RAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

Moving to the Web Site Help forum where it might get an answer.

This was answered in the Sig thread so presumably this thread can go back whence it came.

I find it truly amazing that we have a clearly defined thread labeled "Our kickass custom made signature art" and I come in to see what gorgeous signatures might be getting created and find people who obviously cant stand signature art raiding a thread they have nothing in common with. Do you also go into the foreign language threads and complain that they arent speaking english or your particular favorite language? If this were a topic about the validity of signatures then post away but it appears to be made so those of us who enjoy them have somewhere to go without primadonnas coming in and leaving there unwanted and unsolicited narrow minded opinions.

Of course that is just my opinion and I offer it with no intent of offending anyone as we all are free to post on this open site.

Given that this is in the web site help and is originally about a change made to the website, I think it entirely proper for others with different perspectives to weigh in on it.

For myself, I think that I have to agree that oversized signature art is difficult for many. I enjoy tasteful graphical signatures, even at the mini size I think that if you find enjoyment in the medium, you now have a challenge! Build that level of sophisticated expression at this much smaller size!
