Hello,
I Bought Mass Effect 2 special edition on release and was more than happy with the package and the game, I activated the codes in the box and recieved some armour and a weapon. Great, I thought, now to activate my cerberus card and get those points. So I input the code and sure enough "cerberus key accepted" and I thought that would be that until I wanted DLC. Little did I know that when I come to want some DLC (now) I don't have the advertised BioWare points on my account and consequently can't purchase the DLC. Having not checked my account at the time I wasn't sure I had ever had them. I tried activating the card again thinking I might have forgotten but it told me I had already activated that key. Does anyone know if I can still get the points or if they expire?
Incidentally, Mass Effect 2 doesn't show up in teh my games tab of the social network, in the bar on the left. I only have dragon age origins, I dont know if that is a related problem. I can't register mass effect again though because I only get an option to remove the registration.
Cererus Activation Card Loss of Points.

I´ll give it a try.
As far as I know, the Cerberus Network Card doesn't give you points. It grants you access to the Cerberus Network which is worth (or was) 1,200 BioWare points. For each game that doesn't include a card (e.g. second-hands), you'd have to pay 1,200 BWP to get the CN. The CN provides some missions and equipment, and is the basic for access to other DLC. - The CN card is like a redeem code card for a piece of DLC. Compare it to The Stone Prisoner for DA:O.
The BioWare points usually work for both games, Dragon Age and Mass Effect. It shouldn't matter where you spend your points.
Mass Effect 2 also doesn't show up in a extra tab like DA:O. There are no public/uploaded achievements, and no uploaded characters. That's mainly what the DA:O page is for.
