I'm positive Bioware will be able to help us do this soon enough. Maybe once they get the critical patches out of the way.

My bro's playing DAO and have unlocked some achievements. When he beats it, I will start a new game... no more achievements for me to unlock. Well, guess it's not a big deal about it.
EDIT: If asked to just make a new account to solve this little problem, it's not possible to use my DLCs/bonus items since I redeemed the codes =/

Yes it's possible. Delete or rename the file Profile.dap in the \\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings folder under your Documents system folder.
This file is immediately repaired as soon as you log into the server to authenticate DLC and it restores the profile's achievements.

Exactly. Would really like to see some sort of Developer comment. This thread can't have been missed consistently the whole time it's been active.
This is working as they intended it to, and while requesting features is fine, I doubt they will be concerning themselves with new features until the larger issues (such as identifying and repairing the cause of the slowdown which results in massive load times) are corrected. Especially, since this particular request would require a rework of both the game and the code that works with the social site (which we know already has people who don't get updated at all).

And the official DLCs have to be authorized only once, if I remember correctly, so you don't have to be constantly logged in.
I guess that's the only solution for now.
Edit:
And yes, deleting Profile.dap, apart from removing all achievements, also solves the companion-related bugs I suffered from, though I have to use separate profiles for different characters.

Q1. Is there a way to reset the Achievements both online and on the PC, since they are both one of the same?
I started playing the game, as many have, when it was first released to try out different PC's and ultimately ended up with 3 or more characters that were bound for the dumpster! I have since deleted them, online and on the PC. However, their individual Achievements have NOT been deleted with them. Everything else has vanished as expected on a deletion, but the Achievements are stuck. So I ask yet again:
Q2. Is there a way to reset the Achievements both online and on the PC, since they are both one of the same?

I understand your feeling, the only issue is that some achievements can only be obtained through multiple play-throughs, with different gendered characters. Just a thought.
Never thought of that aspect, Thanks! Will have to recheck the achievements to see if that pertains. But as also mentioned, it would be nice to have the option to delete the ones we choose to, just like we do with everything else online with the exception of the achievements...

Not to say I would not like this option because I would.

So, maybe it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to keep track of all achievements by character in similar fashion, if only at a local level. With the current frustrations uploading profiles, adding things to that queue may not be a good idea.

I actually put in a ticket on this, and a week later they finally respond, FWIW.

Really appreciate someone taking that extra step. This is really disappointing. Ah well.

If you notice, the game DOES notify you when you unlock specializations, even if you've already unlocked them with other characters.

I guess we have to do this the old fashion way, with pen and paper!

Good news, I can still play the game with all my DLC.
Bad news:
1- Achievements and unlocks were still downloaded to me
2- I can't create a social site account now linked to my EA master account.
So, the achievements and specialization unlocks are linked to your EA master account, and not your Social Site Profile account. Deleting your account only deletes screenshots and any character information uploaded.

I noticed there is now a "Profile Diagnostics" link on the character page. Perhaps this will let us reset our achievements?

That's a shame. You did save me going through all that hassle though.

No, it's just provides diagnostic information, likely useful if you (like me) have issues with data not getting uploaded to the site because you've got two profile_IDs linked to the social site account.
It's such a mess that I definitely do want to start over completely, wipe the data associated with this account, get the two profile IDs wiped and get all those screen caps and what-not uploaded from scratch. As it stands, even after they fix the double-profile problem, I'll still be losing all those auto-generated screen shots from the achievement unlocks.
