If you create a new Bioware/EA account that is.

Making a new account is a really contrived workaround.

As mentioned by a few people earlier in the thread, the system was designed and modeled after the Xbox live system. You can reset your achievements on your local machine by deleting your profile.dap file located at: \\\\My Documents\\\\bioware\\\\dragon age\\\\Settings
However, as soon as you log in again the game will automatically sync the achievement list from the server back down to your PC.
The only real way to unlock achievements again would be to create a new Bioware/EA account.
But that's not a viable option since it means losing all game promotions.

Also, again AFAIK, you need not be logged in to you Online Profile to run with the DLC's, but if you're not signed in, you do not get profile updates or profile syncing. Am I correct, or does the "content updater" ruin this theory?
I to would love to reset all achievements for each new character I play. Or have a local and a global oprion, making each character "unlock" new achievements, even if they're already unlocked globally by another character.

I also tweeted bioware that they have to implement a way to respec in DAO1, awakening does have manual of focus which is good, but we need that in DAO1 as well.

I just spent like 45 minutes in a DA2 Q&A and I asked the writer of DA if there will be a way to reset achievements, he said he doesn't know about that since he only writes, then some other guy said that you can reset achievements... He is either right and we just don't know where to look because they made it really complicated, or he was wrong..
He is wrong. He obviously hasn't looked into the issue.

Achivements are tied to the account. Deleting characters / uninstalling will not effect them.
I would also like to have the option of resetting the achievements though...
This, I believe, is incorrect. EA, in their infinite wisdom, gave me instructions on how to fix the game because my content was coming up unauthorized. These instructions DID fix the unauthorization problem, however, it wiped all my unofficial DLC out (what fun that was trying to figure out what I'd had installed and reinstalling it ALL!), and it wiped all my achievements out as well. For some reason, even now, my character cannot log the Most Powerful Foe Slain, although I think that was because of a different in-game unofficial mod, Temple of Vulak, I think. Anyway, all the achievements I'd earned since beignning the game up to the point where I fixed it were wiped and are still gone. PM me if anyone knows how to fixt this problem. Thanks.

And what was this fix? I'd love to be able to delete my achievements AND be able to play with my DLC's (Got everything exept the "Witch Hunt" and "Darkspawn Chronicles")
