Installation

Simply run the DAUpdater and select CraggyIsland.dazip. 

Synopsis

As another dawn ascends on the peaceful community of Craggy Island, one scream is followed by another, as hysterical parents notice that their children are not in their beds, at the breakfast table, or in fact anywhere to be seen. Everyone is in a state of frenzy and disarray and the island has been locked down; nobody enters, nobody leaves. 

In this standalone module, you will play as Manfred, a mercenary hired to investigate the disappearance of 3 young children on 'Craggy Island'. Talk to the villagers, gather some leads and solve the mystery. What on earth happened to those children? The island has a dark history and is not about to reveal its secrets so easily. Time is running out and you are the childrens last hope.

'Craggy Island' offers a well rounded gameplay experience, with a focus on story, exploration and mystery. You will be immersed in an Island dripping in atmosphere and intrigue.

I like the ambiance you have going in the village there. It's also a refreshingly different direction than most of the mods I've seen. Good luck with it.

All is going well, making good progress on character designs at the moment and most interiors are now linked up. Script is also coming together nicely.

Just to give a quick update, I am in the process of a possible job change, so thats sapping much of my time at the moment, but rest assured, the moment things settle back down again, this is my top priority.



Most character models are in place, much of the script has been written and I have quest trees drawn up. Loving every minute of it, but again, apologies for lack of updates at the moment!

Back on track then, I have a fair amount of characters added to the game world, with some dialog tree's and some basic quests. Just did my first cutscene today, bloody complex, but its a really robust tool and I'll probably get addicted to making some really fancy stuff with it. I have a near 1 minute cutscene just about finished, I think it's looking quite nice!

Based on those screenshots this mod is going to give even the landscaping of the original game run for its money. The atmosphere is unbelievably well created. I am really looking forward to see more. Good on you boy!

Hey all, quick note to let everyone know that Craggy Island is in it's final stages. There is some work to be done on the final scene's and there is also some music left to add amongst various other tweaks. Voice-over work has begun also, with 6 out of 20 characters now fully voiced.



Aiming for a mid-December release. Watch this space!

Hey all.

Craggy Island will be released on 16th January. It will most likely be available through dragonagenexus as the file size will be over Bioware's limit. It's fully voiced and with custom music.
