But the +10 defense and +10 attach from Champion affects only the allies and not the Champion himself, or am I wrong at that?

Very... Crafty of you.... *chuckles at the console related pun* Still, that seems to be a lot of work when there are so many great free items in the game.
Not a Reaver fan; still recommend Champion for the extra AoE ability, as well as the +10 Defense.

Reaver is actually pretty solid. At least, the first two skills are. Devour gives a base of 40 health back for every corpse it hits. Higher Magic gives a larger boost, so I can expect to have about 42 health back per corpse when wearing the helm and accessories I plan on having. If I decide to kill Witherfang, then that will bump up to 43. So if I use Devour and have 3 corpses in the area, that's a total of 129 health. Sure, the 30 second cooldown is annoying, but that's why you have Health Poultices to back it up.

As for Frightening Appearance, it's a long-duration, short-cooldown, Warrior-specific Horror. Since it performs a Mental Resistance Check against the user's Strength, it's very nice to use to lock down enemy Mages while you get over to them to take them out.

The other two skills aren't quite as useful. Aura of Pain damage can't be reduced, and while Blood Frenzy can provide a damage boost larger than that of Berserker, your health has to be very low to get that boost. Not only that, but it inflicts a penalty to Health Regen. Berserker, on the other hand, provides nearly the same boost, but with no penalty to Health Regen, and no need for you to get your health low.

You may be correct; uncertain based on Wiki info. But I recall a post recently when someone tested this in solo mode, and it appeared to give them the small buff needed to get past the challenge.

I am not into the leeching talents much, other than Entropic spells. For me, the Reaver is too close to the NWN Berserker, and built in self destruction is just not my thrill pill.

So I've been trying to figure out how to build the character, and I'm hitting a brick wall. Anything with a Level Requirement, I'm good on, but other than that, I have no clue. I'm mainly randomly picking skills as I go along. I'd like help refining the list. Here's what I know so far:

Character Creation: Dual-Weapon Training, Flurry

Level 2: Dual-Weapon Finesse

Level 3:

Level 4:

Level 5: Momentum

Level 6:

Level 7: Devour

Level 8:

Level 9: Dual-Weapon Expert

Level 10:

Level 11:

Level 12: Dual-Weapon Mastery

Level 13:

Level 14: Berserk

Level 15: Resilience

Level 16: Constraint

Level 17:

Level 18:

Level 19:

Level 20:

The main issue is that I want Death Blow for Stamina Restoration. I'm thinking that I'll use Tomes to get most of the way, but the issue then becomes when to pick up Powerful to start things off.

There's also the issue of stats. Previously, I was pumping Dexterity all the way, but I'm beginning to wonder if it would be a better idea to go 1 Strength and 2 Dexterity. It would take longer to get my Dexterity to 32 like I want, but I'd be able to equip better armor sooner.

Does anyone have any input that could help me?

Well for duel weapon, there are three important abilities. Always get the first two on the top line the duel weapon mastery talents(You only need the first two as the third just adds mele crit % and a bleed and the 4th allows duel main handers) the first two are important to counter act the negative damage you get with both weapons simply by equiping two weapons. The ability you really want after that is Momentum this is a 30% attack speed boost so be careful about stacking it with others. Matter of fact momentum only stacks with Blood Thirst(Power of Blood) and Swift salve. With anything else you go over the 50% attack speed cap and actualy attack slower. If you plan to use momentum+haste the only way to counter act it is to also use Precise striking because this reduces attack speed by 10% So Momentum+Haste = 55% attack speed which rolls over to negative, precise striking brings it to 45% attack speed boost so your still ok and have a easier time hitting due to higher attack score lol and a increased melee crit. Matter of Fact you can get Momentum+Blood Thirst+Precise striking for +40% Attack speed and +15% melee crit chance(What I intend to use on my next character)

Anways skill wise Priorities still the first two duel wield, momentum, and Deathblow in warrior tree. Due to the fact your going to be solo and your getting momentum I highy suggest getting the AoE tree first so you can do duel weapon sweep+Whirlwind combos plus since your picking up reaver for the devour first I suggest it so you can ensure more then one corpse to feed on usualy with the AoE line. I also suggest getting Poisons, wether you wanna max it yourself or just get level 1 and have liek leilana or zevran craft them for you thats your choice but a stun rune in each weapon and the stun poison = save your A S S in alot of situations.

I do want Momentum. However, my main concern is actually getting it too early. I did a run where I got to the Korcari Wilds and picked it up as soon as possible, and it was actually hurting me. It didn't let me activate more than about 1 ability before I had to rely on the Auto-Attack and my base Stamina Regen. I'm hoping that Level 5 will be late enough to let me build up a decent Stamina Pool.

I'm aware of the Attack Speed Bug. However, as I'm doing a Solo run, the only things I'd have access to for increasing attack speed would be Momentum, Blood Thirst, and Swift Salve. Momentum gives +30%, Blood Thirst gives +20%, and Swift Salve gives +20%. So I could use Momentum and either Blood Thirst or Swift Salve. Blood Thirst is generally better, but also drains 12 health every two seconds, which means I'd be going through Poultices pretty quickly to keep from dying. Swift Salve, on the other hand, is safer, but each on only lasts for 1 minute. I'll probably be able to use Blood Thirst while wearing Cailan's Armor, but once I swap it out for another armor set, I really don't think I'll have anything that will keep up with the constant damage.

You say that Dual-Weapon Expert and Dual-Weapon Mastery are useless, and you'd be right if I was running a Backstabbing Dagger/Dagger character. However, I'm not. In fact, I actually intend to run around with two Main-Hand weapons, and I can't do that if I don't have Dual-Weapon Mastery. It is therefore essential that I get that as soon as I can.

I'm currently looking at the following:

CC: Dual-Weapon Training, Flurry

2: Powerful

3: Dual-Weapon Finesse

4: Threaten

5: Momentum, Whirlwind

6:

7: Devour

8: Bravery

9: Dual-Weapon Expert

10:

11:

12: Dual-Weapon Mastery

13:

14: Berserk

15: Resilience

16: Constraint

17:

18:

19:

20:

Powerful made the Arl of Denerim's Estate a little bit easier during the City Elf origin, thanks to the +25 health. As for Level 12, I'll probably save a couple of tomes for then so I can pick up Dual-Weapon Expert, Frightening Appearance, and Death Blow all at once. For the empty spots, I'll just start filling out the Dual Striking line, then start on the Precise Striking tree.

^Duel Weapon Expert and Mastery not useless, just not as big a priority as the first two also dont forget Blood Thirsts +10% chance to crit lol. Damn stamina managment is rough at the begining I highly suggest trying to get Executioners Helm, Blood Dragon Plate and Warden Commander boots. Then whatever you need for gloves. Works pretty good intialy for me as I dont go to Return to Ostagar till after the landsmeet since I recruit Loghaine and he has some choice dialog there.

I'd like to use Blood Thirst, but it's 6 damage per second is off-putting. I'm not sure the Lifegiver can keep up with that. I'm pretty sure Cailan's Armor can, but other than that, I'd have to chug poultices like Oghren chugs beer.
