I am having trouble finding out how to open up the single player campaign and the DLC, such as Warden's Keep. I want to pick it apart to see how it was all assembled. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The DLC you can not open.. and the OC Campaign you can not edit as the level files are not provided for it.
You can use the models from both and the scripts from the OC Campaign. But the DLC is / was locked last time I checked. Its to prevent people from just copying it and offering the copy up for download.

Are there any resources (levels or areas) that are available that you are aware of that can be opened?
I know that I can extract the DDS files, for instance, but I am really interested at looking at the anatomy of a well flushed out area.

look at the demo module then. No areas of the original campaign (single player) are accessible at all.
A shame really, as you cannot do extension type modules like the DLCs yourself. No way to start them, as you would need to alter the single player module (like the DLC does by putting the quest giver in the party camp area) in some ways.

In the beta we had most of the database content of the main campaign (all creatures, areas etc.), but no level files. I hope we'll at least get that stuff back.

And so I find out that my aspiration to create a mod like Stone Prisoner will stay a dream,
This also means u cant add a new party member with Dialogue, personal quest etc to the
OC right? >_>

As far as new areas, can you edit the overview map to have a new place to travel too?

Apparently you CAN add content to the OC. The problem is you just can't edit it with the toolset. From what I have been reading on here at least you suppossedly can edit the OC by manually adding the code. Unfortunately I can't remember which thread I was reading about it in and the search on this site sucks.
One place you can try for atleast some information though would be:
http://social.biowar...n_existing_area
It talks about being able to add a transition so atleast theoretically you could put a door or an npc that would be able to teleport you to a new area or thusly your module. IF or how you would add a transition node into the world map I know not though.
