I couldn't see pregnant and/or baby toting Morrigan as a real asset in fighting the darkspawn. Cool to have around maybe, but less so for the actual work part.
Clearly you have never seen the Lone Wolf and Cub series.

Don't mistake me for saying Morrigan couldn't protect herself and child.
Then again, what kind of Warden are you to say - hey we're going somewhere dangerous, bring the stroller!
I want to see what comes of all that, and have it be covered, but actual companionship and adventuring... seems a bit of a stretch to me is all I'm saying.

The playthrough that'd I'd be able to carry forward was involuntary WC. Zev was supposed to hang around and train new Grey Warden assassins, and I'd like to see how that works out.

If I could bring another companion from Awakenings, it would be Anders. He is an awesome mage and I'm dying to know more about his back story.

Do you have the VO notes though since they do probide a pretty good hint at what they are thinking or their motivations. Also I am not picking sides since this should not turn into THAT thread again, and you all know what I am talking about.
Sure. This is if Loghain died:
Alistair: So. Loghain was killed by the archdemon. I suppose that has a certain amount of justice to it. (a bit stiffly, but he's not unhappy about Loghain being dead -- there is some bad blood between him and the player)
Alistair: You did what you thought you had to. And it worked out. So all is good. (a bit stiffly, but he's not unhappy about Loghain being dead -- there is some bad blood between him and the player)
Warden: So you're still angry.
Alistair: No, I just... didn't see myself being here. (a bit awkward)
Alistair: Duncan is dead, and I'm no longer a Grey Warden. And I'm king. That part still keeps surprising me. But I'm not angry, no. (a bit numbed by it all)
Alistair: I know you're leaving, anyhow. I'm sure we'll see each other again. (but hopefully not any time soon)
Alistair: Until then, you'd best get on with your procession. Your adoring public awaits. ("go away")
Of course, there are more branches, all show him unhappy. He's more upset if he's not changed, but he does not like the warden any more.

What about if the DR is done though? Are his VO notes any worse than that?

Well thats his problem if the Warden with 25-30 years more seniority suggests sparing the man who tortured him then I think something is up. Although he did seem a lot less angry in Awakening when he said hi, however everything is jumbled in Awakening anyway.

Oh, he does not like it at ALL that the Warden and Loghain survived.
Again, I'm not going to do all the branches, but here you go:
Alistair: I don't think we have much to say to one another. You killed the archdemon. Well done. (a bit cold)
Alistair: The Grey Wardens seem to be mighty curious as to just how you managed to pull that off without dying. (and so is he, tone of slight hostility)
Warden: I don't know, really.
Alistair: Somehow I'm not surprised. You're just lucky that way, right? (sarcasm, "just lucky that way" dripping with acid)
Alistair: (if hardened) Look, you made me king and I'm... grateful. And Duncan would have been happy the Blight is over. (grudging thanks -- he would prefer the player just get lost)
Alistair: Anora has big plans for you, since you're sticking around. So we'll see plenty of each other. (less than enthused by this idea, "we'd better make the best of it")
Alistair: Until then, you'd best get on with your procession. Your adoring public awaits. ("go away")

Did I mention that Loghain's standing across the room from him during the coronation? He's still really pissed.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Doesent he get over it in the coronation though Sarah? I thought he said he was glad I survived and that loghain was killed by the AD? Though I couldnt tell if he was being sarcastic or geniuly happy.

It seems pretty clear to me that Morrigan's story with the PC ends in Origins, I just don't feel it should be continued beyond that.

Oh no, then he's genuinely glad to see you and, glad to see the end of Morrigan, and sad if you're leaving.Giggles_Manically wrote...
No I meant if you Killed Loghain, and did the DR. Not if you did the DR while having spared Loghain.

Oh, but he likes the warden in that case. Unless he's hostile.
Edit: Here's a bit of the neutral/hostile dialog I suppose -- he likes the warden much more in this case.
Alistair: So we made it. I'm impressed, aren't you? (amused -- he's saying this after all the excitement is over, like two people who have been through a great battle together)
Alistair: You killed an archdemon and survived. That's one for the history books, right? (impressed)
Alistair: I just don't understand how you're still alive. I guess Riordan was wrong? (confused -- they SHOULD be dead) (if he doesn't know about the ritual -- male warden performed it)
Warden: You don't want to know.
Alistair: Hmm. You're probably right. (weary)
Alistair: The Grey Wardens haven't arrived yet from Orlais, but they've already been sending questions. I guess it'll be a mystery. (not looking forward to answering those questions)
Alistair: Speaking of mysteries, where did Morrigan go? She vanished right after the battle. No good-byes or anything. (curious -- not that he minds Morrigan being gone, he never liked her)
Warden: She doesn't want to be followed.
Alistair: Very dramatic. I don't imagine she'd be easy to find if she didn't want to be. (rolling his eyes on "very dramatic" -- that's so like her)
Alistair: At any rate, I can see Arl Eamon giving me that look. More king stuff, I suppose. It can never wait. (resigned to his fate, Arl Eamon is "giving him that look" from across the room ("come over here now"))
Alistair: You have lots to do, and an adoring public to greet. Don't let me keep you. (farewell)
