Open letter to Bioware and the Xbox community:
Bioware, you're a great developer. I'll not fault you in any way for this. I think I speak for many of us when I say a huge "thank you" for updating us on the progress with the patch. The efforts on that project are certainly commendable and go a long way to appeasing some of us more vocal group. And making Dragon Age the 9+/10 project it should be.
But as I and many others on this forum have argued, some of you seriously suck at QC (Quality Control) right now. See the following article please. It's short and sweet. Explain to me why Rockstar Games is able to put out a patch to correct flaws in their DLC within 24 hours of its release (despite your frequent claims about Microsoft/Sony certification times holding you back) and we've had to play the scream/wait game for so long?
Wait, I know. It's called priorities. And I get why it has to happen in a business environment. Just realize that when you're looking at yourself to determine if you're a success in this regard, people on our end realize it just ain't true.
But we'd really like it to be....
(And yes, I do realize that the DLC I'm referring to is only 12MB and was probably a cakewalk to fix. But the issue here is two-fold. #1: We're not talking weeks or even months here....we're way past that point as said many, many times before and #2: Apparently certification doesn't take very long when you get it right the first time.)
.....24 hours. WHAT!!!???

you have no idea what you're talking about. no patch has been released for Red Dead Redemption's new DLC. the multiplayer/co-op missions all operate from their own servers, which is why they didn't need to use a patch. It just happens in the background
