I'm slugging away trying to make some custom materials and tints for my module, but it's taking a lot of guessing and exporting and then applying to see how it looks. Does anyone know of a way to extract or open  (for example) the existing hair tints to see what values they have in certain locations?

TIA

Don't know how much help it's going to be after such delay, but...

* tints are stored in tints.erf file in \\package\\core\\data sub-folder of main Dragon Age folder. You can open it with File->Open File command in toolset, to list its content. From there, right-click on any .tnt file will give you access to Extract command to create local copy of it.

* create New -> Material, add a Tint Library and a new tint object. If you now select this tint object, in the Object Inspector the second field from top will be "Import TNT file" which will allow you to load the exported .tnt file into your new tint object.
