Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i cant find any other place.
Is it really impossible for a no-cd patch for the next official patch? It is extremely annoying when you play on a laptop to be carrying around a cd which is my favourite game i would prefer to keep it immaculate from scratches. Please take this into account.

When you installed the game you accepted the license agreement which says you will always launch the game from the disc. You could also just get a refund.

Or activate the game in EA Download manager by using your retail CD key and download and install the digital distribution version.
That has no CD check and you don't even need to buy it again.
