I've got a question:

at the start of the game you get the N7 armour (which is customisable). Ive got most of the dlc, except for the ones with a price tag. I have the collector's edition, so i have collecter's armour + weapon, blood dragon armour and the cerberus assault armour. Which is best? Cosmeticly i would choose the blood dragon armour, but i also heard the cerberus armour has the best stats.

What do you think?

Cerberus Armor doesn't have very impressive stats, you can reach exactly the same effects with N7. Collector Armor give you a unique health bonus, which could be pretty handy, but i prefer damage bonus (the faster you kill, the less damge you take!). So Blooddragons +15% power damage boost is very handy, as it amplies to ammo powers. With the right N7 parts you can get +8% power damage (Chestplate, Shoulders), +5% weapon damage (Gauntlets) and +10% headshot damage( Visor), plus something from your legs like +10% health, which is similar in it's effects to Blooddragon. Would take some time to get this parts together, so if you like the looks of the Blooddragon Armor (and have no problems with always wearing a helmet), then go for it.

The benefit of the DLC armor, though, is that you're not paying for them. Each N7 armor piece is going to cost you a bit of money.

I would go with Blood Dragon. For Ammo Power bonus. However, when I play a soldier I prefer the N7 set so I can increase melee damage, storm speed, and other stuff. Shield increasing Armor isn't worth it. The total amount of shields you gain will almost never equate to being able to take an extra hit from an enemy

DLC armor you've listed, BloodDragon is the best for stats. However, I still prefer customized N7 overall as I can tailor it to the mission. Once you have everything, and presuming you have the Dr.Pepper dlc's, you can get a 15% health and 15% shield at the same time from N7. Even better, if you don't mind the helmet is 25% health and 10% shields. However, I rarely go this route myself.

I usually max out the damage pieces and then add to health, same for power, or if there's going to be a lot of husks, I'll do the melee and storm speed additions.

In short, there realy is no best armor as non of the %'s are all that high. So nothing's going to make you immune to damage or give all your shots 1 to kill damage modifiers. In the end I typically take what looks cool.
