The patch is on the way though. Of course, this is the wrong thread to discuss these things since there already is a patch thread.
That being said, I am looking forward to this DLC and for only $7, I'll get it. I spend more than that on coffee in one day.

I've completed Origins about 5 times and Awakening twice on my Xbox...They're fine for me, no major crashes.
I didn't have many problems on my 360 either.

Dude, can you see that little pic in my sig? That an stylized Brazilian flag! Woohoo.. going for the sixth title. HEXA! And still, I was moved by the effort and commitment of Team USA. And we were given a free trailer, not a smart phone cam video like the ones captured in E3 that YouTube has for some days like you mentioned. What's to complain about it?
The trailer is an advertisement....a marketing tool designed to generate sales.....it's not something I view as "given" to us because in the end the costs needed to produce it....however small or large....were considered and included when the selling price of the DLC was set....it's part of what we purchase when we buy the DLC. It is a tool to inform and persuade the customers and the fact it was kept from the public for over a week makes little sense and seems suspicious.
That's not a conspiracy theory....it's a fact.....any business class will tell you that you can't afford to run a business at a loss so when you create a new product you need to take into account all your costs including the costs of informing the customers when pricing your product. Look it up......the fact that advertising increases the price of the products is one of the major arguments against advertising. This is basic common knowledge.

Same here.....I wouldn't worry about PC fanboys spouting nonsense. The 360 barely has a couple of game breaking bugs(which are about to be fixed with the next patch) and even those are barely encountered by very few players.....beyond that the console versions are nearly flawless save a few minor and avoidable annoyances.
The PC version has hell of a lot more game breaking bugs and when it comes down to it there are 100 times more PC gamers that can't play DAO due to a far more varied collection of game breaking bugs.....which aren't yet on the list of problems to be fixed and probably won't be fixed.

I'm excited for this DLC, excited for an upcoming patch, and looking forward to seeing what Bioware produces in the future. I'm not all sunshine--I still have a sore spot about Darkspawn Chronicles. But I'm willing to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt on just about any issue they have not proven themselves on the wrong side of.
After putting in 200 some hours over my playthroughs, according to Steam, I kinda owe it to them XD

But again we get yet another standalone dlc that does NOT impact the story or continue it for those of us fans who are still waiting patiently for this to happen.
Why do I get a sense that these dlcs are the last of it, and once they're done, thats it for our Wardens? Tell me it ain't so..
Really...
Didn't you realize that we have ALREADY finished to play as our Warden ?? And it's been so long since this thing happened
And I am not surprised at all... I knew it from the moment I din't find a Final Save at the end of Awakening and Melo told us there was no need of a Final Save 'cause future DLCs won't need it..
No after 23 characters, I haven't "realized this" yet. I am still holding onto hope.
There is still ALOT of Thedas to see, Morrigan's story, and other loose threads hanging about. So ..they didn't put a final save in for the upcoming dlcs....because the dlcs have NOTHING whatsoever to do with the story, they are standalone.
They won't be impacting the main campaign story at all, they are more like flashes into history, or possible epilogues (endings) such as what we have seen so far.
The Leiliana upcoming dlc is proof of that for certain. As to what the others will be like, I have a hunch, being that the Grey Warden is mentioned, that perhaps we'll see a short dlc in regards to the Grey Warden, and that will end up as the "canon ending".
Which means we don't get any choices here on how our Warden ends. Thats the picture I am getting.
What I am saying here, is that I was hoping the Origins story would be concluded ..with loose ends tied up. Allowing us to participate.
Sure we're going to see a whole slew of dlcs, but none of them have anything really to do with what alot of others including me were hoping to see?
Guess thats a pipe dream huh?

Thats entirely the opposite impression I have had on these forums, being that the PS3 owners/console owners had so many things wrong starting back at the release of RTO, there were multiple long-standing threads on this.
How did this all of a sudden switch over to the Pc having more problems, you have confused me here. There are many console owners that will point you to the tech forums to point out the list of bugs, etc. Sure there are bugs for the PC, but I was under the impression the console owners were worse off?
At any rate this is kind of off-topic I would imagine, its the new dlc thread..heh

I've been playing the PS3 version the whole time and I've never seen a crash/bug/glitch of any kind in Origins, Awakening or DLCs. Maybe there are some "invisible" problems such as miscalculations in damage but I'm not the kind of gamer that would be paying enough attention to notice if I hit for 34 damage instead of 35.

this is what i think the most interesting part of the interview
"I've included teasers for the early lives of several Origins characters, and some groundwork for others you may meet in future."
This , I foresaw.
Because all the characters have their interesting past stories can be used. For my part , I would like to see Zevran and his ''ex-love'' and that mission he regrets soo much *sorry may contain spoiler*

No, seriously. That elf mage looks a helluva lot like my character!
This one of those aforementioned teasers or just really freaky coincidence?

What I said isn't my hope but just what I think it will happen, based on the things I saw in these months.. Maybe also I am wrong..
Honestly... It wouldn't be a problem if I will be forced to leave behind my old warden and begin with a new one. I am always thrilled everytime I have to build a new character and begin a new story.
But at the same time I can say you I have just finished the 6th playtrough with my warden. Not the 6th different warden, but the 6th campaign with EXACTLY the same WARDEN.. this should be enough to let you see how much I can become attached to a character I like...
Therefore whatever they are going to do it will be fine for me.. I like both the ways. The only important thing I care about is that it will be a logical choice and that they will find a solution which fits well with my story
I don't wanna see my game and my decisions ruined in some way with the introduction of some canon which could not fit with my choices.
I just want the story I build with 80 hours of gameplay to be respected and not to see it screwed up for convenience or just to simplify the things... This is the most important thing, and I think I am not the only one who think so....
