I don't think so. It is not something that changes with the characters origins, its what Alistair IS, he is straight, let him be straight.

There is an Equal Love mod that allows male wardens to romance Alistair... but all it does is make Alistair think you're female, so the dialogue wouldn't entirely match up.



Personally, I have a hard time imagining Alistair being bi... he's pretty straight-laced so I think he'd be just one or the other, not both!

I personally think Alastair shoudl remain straight. I like that the game has love oppurtunites for any sexual preference but why is being heterosexual not ok? no one is fussing about making zev or Leliana straight! teehee, not trying to sound rude, mb it comes off that way? Everyone deserves love, but i like the vanilla version of the game, its a balanced mix of choices, just like real life is! besides im with the other gals here, he's mine! teehee

Isn't it interesting that so many people have a definite one way or the other opinion about Alistair's sexuality?
In my experience it's always the ones who seem so straight-laced that end up 'coming out', so that is no guarantee Alistair is straight. IMO when I play my male Warden Alistair makes some comments that are completely out of character for a straight character to make....and that's without mods.
There is one mod that will be 'coming out' (pardon the pun) for those who are interested in making Alistair a choice for male characters and the dialog will be revised for a male character. It is called Bond of Blood. Check it out in the projects on this site. It may look dead but it's not.
Oh...and I might add before you start gay bashing or thinking that I am just being the 'typical gay' or whatever those of you who get hostile about this post may think...just because my avatar is male, don't think I am...because I'm not.

Well, they do have Wade & Herren who apparently flew under quite a few people's radars...

So true..they even flew under my radar until it was pointed out by someone else who is working on the aforementioned mod.
The mod will bother a great many people, I think, just because it exists...but anyone can then have their Alistair straight, bi, or gay as they choose...and this game IS about making choices!
