Yah so bioware if you read this.  The majority of people agree.  Longer, more story driven, more emotional romances.  It adds SO MUCH to the game that 99% of all other games Lack.. Emotional Connection to the Game!

I would like to see the possibility of 6 characters in a party like Baldurs Gate. Then the difficulty setting can go up and the combat system gets more depth. 4 players just feels limited to me.

To me, an open ended world would be amazing.

More NPC's in cities. When i walk through Denerim, it doesn't feel alive.

On the console version i would really like the option to send players to a certain location from the hud. Now you have to walk them to places individually. Doesn't work very well...

I would like the dialog system more based on feeling. More like Mass Effect. Instead of long scentences things like, act surprised, humor, emotional, things like that and let your Main character speak.

Video record/playback function would be cool and also the possibility to post on youtube or something.

Online joining with friends so a friend can take control over two players.

But are the developers reading this?

I'd like to see improvements in DA2 that Bioware put in place for ME2. Sorry, I can't name specifics, but my daughter has completed ME and is now playing ME2. She claims that the graphics in ME2 are ten times better than in the original, and that there are very nice interface improvements with the chars.

I would like to see DA2 with a graphical wow factor improvement.

Well what seting will DA2 be set in. No more darkspawn? No more archdemons? In that case can we have vampires...more female than male :P
And spirit things...gnomes and such...all manner of beasties.

And of course what everybody wants...more romances...more interaction with companions...a swimming pool at the camp...leaf bikinis for the females....lol....seats all around a campfire....seats that we all can sit on i may add.
Chatting around the campfire would be awesome. :)

Chimera companion. ****IN' FIRE BREATHING LION WITH A SNAKE FOR A TAIL AND A ****IN' GOAT COMING OUT OF IT'S CHEST **** YEAH!

Elf/dwarf romance for both male and female

Cloaks

Graphics update

Flowing hair/clothes.

Better combat animations

Hip sheaths instead of back ones.

Hobbits. I demand a hobbit origin, I'd play that. If that was the entire game I'd buy it. Just a one hour origin. Assuming it was done in the way JRR Tolkien intended.

Notice: You may not agree with what I say.

Maybe have the console version so the fighting system is not just *click* Warden runs over to genlock and pwns him. *click* Warden runs over to hurlock and pwns him. Make it more like... and oblivion fighting system... and maybe first person and third person switch.

Make it so that you can have like 6 people go into a fight instead of four. :D?

Make it so that there is a war that you can fight in, (You, your six companions, and the army fight another army.)

Have lie some kind of guild you can join in which they give you missions in where you, your companions, and like 8 other soldiers go raid a cavern or something.

Larger fights, yes I know, I am so greedy that instead of the regular 4 on 20 fights, I want a 6 on 40 fight. :P

first i need to see more consequences of my actions i.e. what you decide to do with relationships (marriages) should continue on. say im a bad guy, people should be scared of me. i want a whole party of blood thirsty ruthless killers and no goody goods. second more armor and weapons customization like colors and types of both maybe some darkspawn armor, hoods for armor, facial scars, height ect. along with that, there should be specializations geared to being bad or good. third, if we cant import our origins charactor, add the quanari race as a playable race maybe even darkspawn. if you can play as your origins charactor though, then you should be able to develope more in-depth relationships picking up where you left off. oh item transfer would be a must too and possibly charactor edit (appearence). maybe two discs like mass effect 2 a wider scale of places like ferelden, antiva, orelis and amaranthine.

Thanks for the respect :) i was late to the Oblivion game, bought it because i heard such great things and it got such amazing reviews, but for me i just found it lifeless no personality in any of the characters, and the whole world just felt so desolate and lonley.

-Specialisation should be as meaningful as Origins are now.

-Combat stats more intuitive

-Less, but more unique spells and abilities: Take a look at Blizzard games here. They are excellent at designing abilities that remain useful throughout their games.

-More personal story, less "save the world".

-Party setup should allow at least a little choice. In DAO you need a Tank (Alistair (Shale)), a Rogue (to open locks ) and some form of CC and/or healing (aka, a Mage). In a 4 player party, that really doesn't leave much room for customization.

-Better balanced difficulty: Spells like Confusion, Sleep or Force Field can make the difference between a hard and an easy fight. This is why, imo, many people thought DAO was hard at the beginning until they learnt all the spell mechanics.

-Less zoning: Please don't put single merchants into their own zone, like in Awakening. Try to use as little zoning as possible (I know consoles have issues with this).

-Rework inventory management and allow us to assign and switch gear between inactive characters.

That's where you went wrong, Bethesda games never have a decent story. And they only get a few VA's.

I wish that for every different storyline you choose (i.e. dwarf noble, dalish elf, mage) you would get a party member that only someone from that storyline can get. For example (I'm using dragon age origins for example because obviously #2 isn't out yet), Dalish Elf could get Tamlen, Mage could get Jowan, etc. I think that by doing this the game could actually be altered in big ways between storylines instead of just different beginings, small things throughout the game, and the end.

I agreed with almost every addition that everyone has said. Ideally DA:2 would include:

~ Side quests/fun quests.

~ Swanky armor/capes.

~ Deeper romances/emotional connection with other characters/knowledge of those in your party/the abilty to 'chat' as and when (I really missed this in Awakenings).

~ Freedom on the map (open ended world) where you can explore everything.

~ I like the idea of importing characters and I've also noticed people mentioning the ability to play co-op or online with friends; that'd be really cool.

~ A little less Slash n dash.

~ The ability to communicate with others in the world on your journey.

~ More realistic town/villages, with wider range of people milling about. It'd be great to incorporate ideas from games like GTA or Red Ded and Oblivion (such as the ability to get people on side and see people on your journey more).

~ Alistair.

It's easy to say these things, but obviously it might not be easy to achieve. I suppose you have to draw the line somewhere else you'd have a MASSIVE game. But pleeeease Bioware! Pretty please!

Is it really coming out early 2011? I read somewhere that Awakening came with a card that had the date 2/01/11 and that EA announced DA:2 to be released by March 31 2011. Is this true? Didn't the original game take like 4-5 years to make? DA:O came out less than a year ago and they're releasing another one... Somebody please tell me this isn't true. I'd rather Bioware take their time to make it excellent, than be rushed by EA.

Technically DA:O was suppose to be released in March 09 for PC, but EA pushed it back to November to hit the shelves with the console releases. Seeing DA2 released early 2011 is no concern as BW is using the same engine but just updated the graphics.

Also could there be more darker elements in the game (AKA grey area choices). More Party Cut-scenes in camp, unique armor and weapons meshs for those that have a unique name, more puzzle quests, better fighting system (normal should not be easy) and more enemies.

I just hope they don't do a rush job and screw it all up. EA has a reputation for forcing companies to release their games extremely early, while offering cut content as DLC. I loved the first game, just hope it will be the same with the second. So I hope your right. Although it should take more than a year and about 3 months to create a game even with the same engine and assets.

First of all I want it to be as long as the first one. I believe this is possible as DA2 should be coming out almost 2 years after DA had been completed for PC. They already have the engine and the world.

Other than that more of the same.

No multiplayer as it will dumb down the gameplay significantly.

I'm not sure if I would prefer a continuation of the story or a brand new one,

I would like to see a key or a way to stop targetting an enemy  and ALL enemies during combat.

I hate it that when I am running toward a different enemy than the one I have targetted, my guy will turn and face the wrong target during the run. I know I can solve this by making sure I have the guy I'm running toward targetted first, but I don't always remember to do that in the heat of battle.

Also, if you use archery as I do, sometimes when you pin shot a baddy, if you're not fast enough switching targets, your character will shoot the enemy again, breaking the pin.

I suppose this is not a very important thing in the overall scheme of things, but in my opinion it would make a great game even better if this were implemented.

Capes would be good, hoods too. Would also like for massive armor to be more form-fitting like what is shown in concept art and the trailers.

I'd like them to find the right balance for skills. In Origins Archery is very underwhelming but in Awakening it's way too powerful. On this point as well, I'd like the game to provide more of a challenge as well.

I hope the main character does not carry over from Origins to DA2.

Better graphics of course. Better lighting. Would like outdoor areas to be a bit more open.

I'd also trade two vague specializations per character for one detailed role. If my character is a bard I want to feel like it really is. The specializations just feel like buttons and not like actual classes, if that makes sense.

I would like the ability to be able to pick and choose my party members. In Awakenings no single character is so integral to the story that the player can dismiss the ones they do not like and be done with it. In Origins Morrigan even when dumped in Lotharin as i currently do now still returns to offer her deal. Allistair is saddled to the player so that even if you would choose to dump him as well the game does not allow it for plot reasons. So i guess for me it is the ability to dump any character or characters of my choice when i want or not have to recruit them at all. I should have the ultimate decision as to who's drama i want to deal with and the rest i can just send packing and they stay gone for good, or show up later and i get the option to kill them, (looks at Morrigan and Allistair).
