Death Mask has it and Inferno Armor has it, but really, how useful is it?

I tried wearing Inferno Armor for a while and was keeping an eye out on the renepara bars. To be honest I saw no difference. Does the bonus only work when you get 10 or more points? Does it store points and awards 1 for every 10 that you get?

It's totally useless. To my knowledge the two toughest charm/intimidate checks in the game happen on the Normandy where you can't wear either.



Completely useless. And it's not like it was hard to charm/intimidate anyway.

Actually the bonus should still work even if Shepard is not technically  wearing them on Normandy.

I've never even heard it bonuses while on the Normandy before. So I too will need confirmation on that.

Never had it matter. But then i always do my lvl 4 passive first and usually the one that gives 70% to paragrade. I've not once been unable to choose paragon or renegade options.

I cant confirm this either. But I've read it many times in this forum, people recommending it to people with difficulties on those hard persuasion checks, equipping it before doing those critical loyalty missions. Sp I am assuming it works.

I've tried to use it before and the small bonus it does give you doesn't work out of your armor.

Its good for rallying up Krogans who sound like Quarians with a tummyache.

To my knowledge, the bonus only works when Shepard is actually wearing the armor. Otherwise, it's fairly pointless. It could be useful for fresh level 1 toons with absolutely zero import bonuses for para/rene.
