My question being : Is there someone who is pretty wel versed with how to make cutscenes , and willing to teach me ? I find that getting taught works far faster then having to search for tutorials , and I need some skills at it pretty fast
So please , would someone be willing to teach me how to make my own cutscenes ?

imo with this attitude you won't get any help at all. it's very selfish to think that somebody will sacrifice their leisure time for whom who is not willing to learn. the time you are waiting to get a decent reply would be better spent in tutorials - if you're stuck then post a question and you will be getting help

Well , im not lazy or unwilling to learn ( why else would I ask for a teacher ) , all I wanted to state was that , from own experience , work goes faster when you have a personal teacher , as do the people whom I teach tell me. so please dont call me selfish , I just asked for something , in my eyes , completely normal. besides , if I were selfish , would I be making mods for other people ? look me up at thenexus.com under the name = The Artist
Greetz,
Thomas
PS: my question still stands , if someone is willing to help me please send me a message.

If you don't have the motivation to teach yourself via the many tutorials on the wiki, you aren't going to get anything done...

Seems I have to repeat myself ... As I said , I have the motivation to learn , but stuff just goes WAY faster when you have a personal teacher , again , if I didnt have the motivation , would I be able to make this ? = http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1380
Im just stating that I'd like to learn from someone who's more skilled at it.
Cheers,
Thomas

Wow, I'm pretty surprised by the negative comments in this thread. It's like the comments a person gets at times in scripting forums. The idea behind the forums is to help everyone not discourage them in my opinion.
Teronas92, your best bet is to start with the tutorial if you haven't already and then post questions on things on these forums one or two at a time. Ask specific questions or ask for advice on specific topics as you go along rather than being too general in nature. You can also ask questions here:

and you can get some helpful excel utilities here:

Thanks for a more polite answer
and thanks for the advice , but as I said , I was just looking around and asking if someone would want to teach me in person , I know it might be much to ask from someone , but asking never hurt anyone before ... so , thanks , and ill see to the tutorials , but if there would happen to be someone jumping up and saying "hey , I want to teach you" ill be more then happy to take the offer

the problem of all this is, that most of the people cant teach you more then those tutorials, how to create a cutscene, add few NPC there, change cameras, add animations. All that you will get from tutorials, and believe you me, you will get it pretty fast (I find cutscene wiki tutorial quiet alright, at least it helped me, so I suppose you shouldnt have problem with it either).
As for the "teaching part" dunno if its for the best for someone to tell you, ok now its time to put this there, now this...practise make master, so you should make a training module open an area and try to make cutscene yourself, until you are happy enough to add it into your own module.
So if you have some very specific questions, as Beerfish wrote, there is a cutscene creator guild, where you can find many of those already answered, what will spear your time.
Many of those who know how make cutscene, and good or even biriliant cutscenes, do them because they practised a lot and have good imagination, but also becaused they have a project they work on, so they are busy with their own stuff.
I myself am not good in cutscenes, though I made few (ok one, still better then nothing) so if you feel like its good enough for you, we can figure few things out throught PMs

it wasn't meant to be discouraging at all - sry if it sounded this way @teronas92
the opening post just read like you are absolutely trying to go the easiest way and are not willing to spend your time to get around the difficulties. so i advised to do tutorials as there are lots of them.

Well , to be honest , I was looking for a faster way , but think a little , would I really ask for a teacher if I didnt want to learn ? I make my own mods for people to enjoy , ive got a good friend who supports me with almost everything I do , and I teach other friends what ive learned so far. I enjoy helping other people , as do I enjoy making stuff for a community ... I just wanted to ask if there was ( by any coincidence ) someone who would put aside some time to teach me a bit as well
PS: I did not take your post as offensive , since I usualy discard such posts
not to sound rude or anything.
