NO.... Bioware games are all about giving a player multiple routes to achieve an objective.

The matriarch bewhatever fight is a ONE WAY STREET that involves her getting god mode.   How the **** was I supposed to know that she has god mode on?.....

achieve an objective." actually most of the boss fight pretty much are linear, even throne of bhaal required you to hit pools to drain the energy of the big bad

I had one choice to focus EVERYTHING i had on her. EVERYTHING. ALL MY ABILITIES, ALL MY GRENADES, ALL MY FIREPOWER. EVERYTHING FOCUSED AND DUMPED ON TO HER.

I was just having so much fun with this game until they did this dumb ****.

I love tactics & strategy, not adhering to some anti tactic involving me having to kill a bosses minions first just to kill the boss. If I wanted that I'd be playing that stupid WOW game.

The Benezia fight is SO easy! You immediately run to where the Rachni Queen's tank blocks line of sight between Shepard and Benezia. Then you kill all the geth and Asari Commandos until Benezia's status bar is exhausted. Attacking Benezia herself is pointless. It's just the way the scenario is constructed. There are three waves of new enemies, and after you defeat them all you trigger the closing cutscene. Easy breezy. Seriously, this is the whinefest to end all whinefests.

When the fight first started I killed the inital two minions, but then she immediately CALLED FOR MORE REINFORCEMENTS.

Naturally this leads me to believe that if I keep killing the reinforcements she will keep sending more.

Tactically, strategically she was in the middle of the room cut off from her reinforcements. SO I focused all m firepower on neutralizing her.

This was the correct thing to do given the situation.

BUT SHE HAD MOTHER ****ING GOD MODE TURNED ON AND I DIDN"T KNOW THAT.

I"M SO ANGRY... I PLAYED 11 HOURS WITHOUT DIEING AND NOW I DIE BECAUSE SHE HAD GOD MODE TURNED OFF **** ME.

I imagine part of the p!$$ off factor is the cut scenes involved in the battle, with NO chance to save once the 1st scene start. I REALLY HATE having cutscenes going into tough battle where I can NOT save. Then if you lose the battle, you get the whole #$%& cutscene again too

Tactics, schmactics. The game is constructed in such a way that if you try to bulldoze through this fight, you will die like a little b****. You have to break line of sight with Benezia. PERIOD. You can call it God Mode until you're blue in the face, but it's not going to stop the world from turning on its axis. I suggest you get glad in the same pants you got mad in, and TRY A DIFFERENT TACTIC. Or you can just revel in this fever of anger you have going. THAT'S constructive. <_<

THERE IS AN NPC IN MASS EFFECT 1 WITH GOD MODE TURNED ON THAT KICKED MY **** IN .. THE ONLY REASON IT WON WAS BECAUSE IT HAD GOD MODE TURNED ON.

No bro I'm trying to understand why bioware would give an npc god mode?

How the **** was I supposed to know that biotics have god mode until their minions are dead? Where in the game does it say that?

How the **** was I supposed to know that a biotics strength is determined by the amount of refinrocements they send in?

How the **** was I suppose to know this without dieing one time then loading?  

I UNLeASHED HELL ONTO MATRIARCH BENENZIA AND SHE TOOK IT ALL WITHOUT TAKING DAMAGE MAKING ME AND MY COMPANINOS FEEL INFERIOR AS IF I"VE BEEN LEVELING UP AND BUYING GEAR FOR NO REASON.
