Hello all,

We are making some enhancements to the back-end systems on the BioWare network, which will affect connectivity to some game services. Starting at 11AM Eastern on June 26 until 2A Eastern on June 27, in-game links to BioWare sites and character profiles will not be available.

The BioWare Social Site,  including Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 forums, will remain available and will be unaffected by the downtime. However, it is possible that some images will fail to load during this time.

Thanks for your patience during this downtime!

Just to make absolutely sure (not that I'm paranoid or anything) will this have any effect on already installed DLC?

I.E. Will it still be ok to play or will it throw a wobbly if the Cerberus Network can't connect to a server or somesuch?

@Steel Dancer: If it seems to start any trouble with your DLC, an easy way around it is to play without being signed in during the downtime.

@Victor: Does this mean the purchase of DLC will be unavailable? There was one or two that I had my eye on getting this weekend. Should I wait till Monday?

If it is previously registered, you should be ok. I'll follow up to see if new registration is affected.

DLC purchases should be available, as those live on the Social site. If I learn differently, I'll update this thread.
