I seem to recall that the thread was closed by request (and consensus), so it could be re-titled. It used to be "Garrus Love and Adoration", and it was decided to make it more general-turian-centric so we didn't get accused of going off-topic. I see the current thread may be more lenient, though...we weren't allowed to celebrate page-number milestones in that one. I like doing that.

And I agree with 2K! Woohoo, we can keep the love going, I knows it!!

I'm just so happy to see all the people here. There was a whole "old crew", who are just about all gone now. So happy the love continues with newer people, Garrus (and all other turians) deserves it!!

 yeah, ive noticed on forums like this, there are people who stick around, and then those that cycle fro time to time.  I'm hoping to be the former.  i know i'm fairly new here, but i'm hoping to stick around for awhile.

Quick question, though I think it has been asked before, but what do you guys/gals think that the turian imperial anthem sounds like (Die for the Cause)?

I'm not sure but in certain parts of Garrus' theme (from the ME2 soundtrack), I imagine we can hear little snippets of it. Or maybe that is just my brain making things up.


It is interesting that he keeps it on his playlist. For being such a rebellious turian, he seems quite patriotic. Wonder if that will come up in ME3?

I think it sounds like the music at the beginning of the movie "Buckaroo Banzai". I can't find it on YouTube, but it's perfect. (if you haven't seen the film, you owe it to yourself. awesome.)

btw, Garrus plushie?    i'm in process of ordering one from the girl who did the Garrus/Shepard.  She retired Garrus, but not Nihlus. unfortunately she said she is booked till fall.  still though. worth it.

Yep!  I'm using this turian pattern to make it and it has been a lot of fun . Just finished sewing/stuffing the body and making the head. Working on figuring out how to make Garrus' new concept armor now.

i'm going to be paying 115 for Nihlus. cause his facial markings are complex.  Garrus is retired though. sadly. hell, by that point, I may get Nihlus and Obsydian Shepard.  we'll see.

And yesh! Im surprised a few of you here didnt know about that "infamous" tweet. Its legendary, especially among the fangirls for.....obvious reasons. Keywords in that tweet : "...kiss him deeply." 
Either they did that on purpose, ...or they didnt - they at least know they threw GALLONS of fuel to the fangirl flames. Makes you think why they actually thought of specific scents and flavors.....unless they of course plan to use the idea *wishful thinking*
