Right, China will want there wall back now
I normally take some Melatonin to help me sleep but for the past 5 years i have taken well over the normal dose because that's the only way that they will work but now they have nearly stopped working altogether and if i take any more higher doses it can lead to
"Some unwanted effects in some people, especially at high doses (~3 mg/day or more) may include: headaches, nausea, next-day grogginess or irritability, hormone fluctuations, vivid dreams or nightmares, reduced blood flow, and Hypothermia"
I was taking around 2.5 mg every night for the past 5 years and now it does nothing to me :C
Oh yeah important information here : *Chuckles* "There is evidence to suggest that melatonin is safe with short-term use (3 months or less)."
They are trying me on some Circadin (different type of Melatonin) soon. If that does not work they said to lay off the pills for some months to see if my body will sleep without the pills. If that still does not work they will put me back on the pills to see if it changes anything.
I can normally manage quite well with 3-4 hours sleep a night so it's not that bad
Another (quite expensive) way to make me sleep is to drink around 1 liter of a strong energy drink around 1-2 hours before sleep so that when it's effects wear off i feel extremely tired
Also started to stock up on those much needed painkillers
TL;DR : My drugs dont work anymore
The only side effect i think is that i have not had a single dream in those 5 years and most likely will never again
Edit: @Obs It's wonderful
