After years of fans constant begging and demands for her in more ads - we finally got it. So for garrus to get a trailer is probable. And if fans keep "annoying" them, they will do it! *goes renegade* U hear me bioware!

and that turian kiss had better be real! FRENCH KISS! Or so help me....*shakes fist* They cant simply put out details like that - bring up the hopes [and MANY fantasies] of turian fangirls worldwide and then not do it. "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!"

@Kg: U shouldve been on the skype group 2 nites ago. Me and Reileena were dicussing the whole wanting to hear Garrus and other turian in their "native tongue".  
And it doesnt help that SavageLycan is modding his voice to sound somewhat turian like garrus.....He actually made me melt when he said "Riiigghhttt" like garrus in the end of the 2nd romance chat.

Why can't there be a language option in the menu where you can turn the translators off ?

Their beak is still flexible a little. You can see the end twitch on many talking animations.
maybe thats how he makes MMM sounds? I wouldnt be so sad if he cant... as long as he can purrr (not sure its how you write it, well the thing cats do). His voice always made me think thats a sound hed make.

As for talking with a turian, or any alien, i always thought they used translators. Like its hinted at in some of the Thane dialogue.

They have lips. They're just not as soft as ours. I describe the plates as having the consistency as boot soles/leather for a reason. Still mobile, but tough.

Lots of ancient birds had teeth and beaks. I don't think you can say they have beaks though or lips for that matter. I'm not really sure.. what to call it.

A "purr" noise is made in the throat, not using the mouth.

And now I feel like we need a turian oral anatomy lesson. Someone needs to ask Weekes..

Lessons in turian anatomy are always revelant and necesary.

Turians may not have lips in the human definition but they certanly have something similar in my opinion.

Gotta be honest with you, love: If they don't to half-a s s it, they'd have to hire a linguist (or five) that specializes in language structure and fundamentals in order to create all those languages.  That means more money, and more time, and I'm pretty sure they're stretching a bit thin as it is due to the new deadline.

However...it would be SO WORTH IT.

I'm sorry, but NO.  Turians do not kiss the same way humans, asari, and drell do.  (The jury is still out on quarians for obvious reasons.)  Krogan can't kiss, as they have no lips to speak of, either.  Nor do salarians or hanar.
