I never said they'd kiss the same.  Just that it wasn't all hard beak-like material.  More leathery.

I still contend it's not precisely the same....but the idea of Grunt trying it out on Shepard is kinda

Looks like Grunt has a different interpretation of what "Battlemaster" means

As for the "Turian lips" conversation: Turians have lips, its just that theyre arent pliable as humans. If you watch Garrus while he speaks, you can notice slight gestures. Ive noticed at times he can pout his lips out slightly :3 Another prime example would be when he's telling his reach&flexibilty story [particularly the tiebreaker part] where the camera is zoomed in on his face. 
If he were to kiss Shep, he'd probably just apply pressure back at her......and then maybe some tongue Whatever works, its the thought that counts ^_O

And eh- yes, as people can guess from my posts- I do watch and listen to Garrus....very closely


edit: Hmmmmm we were talking about mandibles and now turian lips. I LOVE this thread so much! *hugs for all*
hmm, anyone guess that Garrus can slightly lick Sheps cheek as another form of a kiss? Id be TOTALLY ok with it!

i've seen some interesting ideas in fic how they could "kiss" though the two parrots from last page is adorable. also truth.

and that picture of Grunt and Shepard made me go 'd'awwwwwww' a lot.

and someone mentioned turian purring. I fully and wholey support this. it is in my headcanon that turians purr.

RE: Turian sounds. I still want to imagine that turians make trilling sounds. I just think it would sound so pretty with the flange.

The conversation about what sounds turians can or can't make (mmm) has me thinking - suppose there are sounds that turians can make that we can't? So then maybe "Garrus" is just the translator's best approximation of, say, "!Ghar≈r*s," extraneous symbols of course representing some hypothetical turian sounds.

Well, Miranda and Jacob look very prominent. A central Miranda is probably to be expected though . Garrus' armour is definately darker, he looks really good though. I also love how Jack and Legion are posed, them and Garrus all look amazing in this. Wonder how much this costs in pounds...

It's 80 USD (excluding the massive shipping bill, can only imagine how much that will cost to ship down here). I think Garrus is holding a gun in front of him so that's obscuring some of the armour (hmm nobody else is holding a weapon). The poses are great, except poor Grunt is kind of hidden in the background. I actually don't mind Miranda in the centre, at least the pose she has sin't overly sexualisesd.

@Aris, ooh, I like that idea about dual-tones, that would be awesome AND make sense given their translated voices anyway. Maybe it's more musical than what we pick up? Like, to make the proper 'a' sound in Garrus, it's approximately the notes G and a B-flat together.

I am just visiting here to say... I LIKE GARRUS WHOLLALOT! He is my main Shepys best-eva-buddy. And I know for certain that one of my other Shepys have hots for him... and amost everything on the ship is so nicely calibrated, priceless!  Anyhow, just had to say it at least once.

I like this thread also, loads of nice info on Turians.. didnt read all yet, but I am slowly working on it. And now I am seriously curious about how they would sound and kiss and all.

Hi Shanya!

The one upside to turians getting so little of the spotlight is it leaves a lot of room for interesting discussion and speculation. Of course, I'd love more canon info on them, but I won't deny I find it really interesting theorizing on various aspects of their culture and biology and so on.
