I wonder why words like 'keelah se'lai' and 'siha' and such don't get translated through the translator but other species colloquialisms related to religion and the like, such as 'By the Goddess' and 'By the Spirits' do.kglaser wrote...
I want to hear some turian language words in ME3! Kinda like the quarian "Keelah se'lai". Just a word here and there of what the actual turian native tongue sounds like would make me a happy.

I find it funny how all the alien words we've heard so far sound really nice and melodic in our tongue. I'd love to hear some asari or salarian word that sounds like 'glorglegorf' or something really... not pretty.
Aww, Qwib Qwib is cute. xD Besides, it's apparently a reference.kglaser wrote...
Like Qwib Qwib?

Yeah, I suppose. It seems to be a rule of thumb that 'tough' races like Klingons, Krogan, Orcs and Darkspawn all use words that are hard and gutteral, whereas elves and such use softer sounds with lots of 'L's and the like. But it seems weird to me. An entire language developed over millenia has to have at least a couple of words in it that don't use only the handful of letters and noises that 'sound right' for their species.kglaser wrote...
So something that sounds kinda Klingon-y, perhaps?

Purring
I imagine you could definitely feel the vibrations from a turian voice through touching. I also like the idea of turians humming or growling in low tones. But "purring" has all the wrong connotations for me. I associate it with cats, pets, furry little things, animals I need to feed and take care of. Not with a big strong turian.

Question
Which is correct: Garrus' or Garrus's?
