We seriously need videos of the Jacob lines about Garrus. Seriously. I am willing to do it but I have NO idea how to upload Xbox game video footage online. Anyone know of a tutorial or something they can direct me to. I'd be willing to set this up but I don't have a PC game version.

Yeah, the first time I saw that presentation I was throwing confetti as well. Until I realized the entire presentation is about gameplay and design, not about squaddies.

I think there is latent Garrus jealously no matter what you do. And I think Jacob is actually interested in you before you flirt with him. What with his "perfect example of humanity" spill. I think he downplays it because he thinks he has no chance, but I actually think he is interested pretty much from the beginning. I also think that makes him resent your familiarity with Garrus. He doesn't seem to have a beef with aliens at large or even turians. It's like Garrus specifically rubs him the wrong way. Does he go off on Thane like that? What's the deal. Does he not like Garrus personality type or is it actually competition over femshep that he won't admit?

I have enough "strategic" saves for messing with scenarios that I can set these up easy for myself, but people are all the time asking about these lines. It's just that Jacob is so awful no one want to "take one for the team." Serious Jacob vids are rare because of that.

I think he says something about Drell eyes if you dump him for Thane.
Both. I think he's offended that Garrus has baggage yet is not ruined by it. Jacob wants to think that people with baggage or acknowledge their baggage are weaker.Does he not like Garrus personality type or is it actually competition over femshep that he won't admit?

I think it's actually jealousy over Garrus' relationship with Shep. Jacob, after all, got to see your rebuilding, too. And undoubtly read the same files as Miranda. And if you pay attention, every dialogue prior to you getting on The Normandy SR-2 is him defending you from Miranda's zealous inquisition. He's got at least a case of hero worship, if not a Xander-like crush on the female superhero in front of him.
So yes. He'd probably resent Kaidan like hell, too. Thane is his only "equal" competition.

oh yeah I can definitely do that. I have so many saves this time lol, I can actually romance everyone and then dump either Garrus, Thane or Jacob for one or the other and Fraps like crazy....
depending on Jacob wantint to talk to me that is xD

Shep and Garrus really are an awesome couple. It does seem like a lot of folks would have been nudging each other in the ribs behind their backs long before Garrus and Shep ever even considered a romance. That's how I picture it anyway. I also think Kasumi's lines are fanservice so in that sense " a lot of people" may actually mean us fangirls. (and guys.)

I went through Jacob's romance. It's bad. F!Shepard sounds horrible, and her lines are horrible. Jacob has a few comments that are basically about how much he wants to bed her. If you try to help Jacob with his problems, he gets super pissed. Bioware...having party members who get pissed off if you ask about them is probably not the best way to go.
Jacob insists on keeping things casual (nothing attached, serious, or involved), but he will get PISSED OFF if you break up with him. It's not so much that he get pissed off itself, it's that he gets so pissed off when he was the one who didn't want anything to be serious...jeez.

I think Bioware over-corrected from Kaidan. A lot of people complained Kaidan was too clingy. Something in between Kaidan and Jacob please. Mainly meanly Garrus of course.
