Btw.....I thought this last night. Everyone knows i love before and after images.And after seeing Garrus in the squad menu, i acted on impulse. Thinking how much he's changed.

Its just puts a HUGE smile on my face seeing how much Garrus has matured over the years. Hes come a long way 
Seeing him grow as a person [er...turian] and finally coming into his own. Eh, its hard to put into words, but I feel so proud of him. Then again "proud" doesnt fully described how I feel. Whats a word a million times stronger than proud? XP

Thanks Arcana for showing the "evolution" of Garrus, really puts things in perspective. I like how both his physical appearance and his mental attitude have changed over the course of the three games.. he's almost a mirror for Shepard isn't he?

And I love how we can SEE his neck now. Must be the little lights and the collar/undershirts. Much brighter than the usual black collar he always had. Then again, the collar of the armor itself was lowered, so more reason to shout yay!

btw, .......is it just me or is the me3 armor strangely reminiscent of Nihlus' armor!?  O.O that front chrome part arching upwards....

@leonia: U welcome XP Im always looking at the evolution of things. I like to see them side by side to as u said "put things in perspective". Thats exactly why i do it. I do many before and after comparisons XD [i wasnt kidding when i mentioned i observe garrus CLOSELY. ]

There are defiinitely some Nihlus elements there, now that you mention it. Kind of a chrome and blue version of the Phantom armour.

Might just be you i'm afraid :3 Nihlus' armour looks very different to me. The front part sticking up is also allot more noticable on nihlus' armour compared to garrus'

I dont mean for it to be EXACTLY XP I said reminiscent. Like a possible inspiration? Was only referring to his collar in particular. The rest is all Garrus' style. heh

Looking back at the phantom armor now, Garrus' collar looks like its the more smoother upgraded version of it. Lights on the inside. Arching front panel. Replacing Nihlus red light panels going across the sides with just blue/black panels. Those are the only things i see couldve been inspired. Small details like that XP

btw - booyah. Got me my own garrus avy. *achievement unlocked*

I stand by what I said when I first saw this screen shot, it looks like garrus is a lot more mature and older looking, it does literally look like an evolution...

and .... I.... wish that I could liken it to Nihlus' armor... but I really can't. There are a few similarities, but... really it just looks like the Archangel armor evolved.
However, Arc.. lining those shots up like that... brilliant. I really love seeing how he's changed and grown. It makes me proud.

and we are saved... they are out of stock of the lithos. it makes me both incredibly depressed and yet happy cause now, i have less temptation. Gods. i wanted one of those.

Since Arcian made me think about pokemon now, Garrus needs some "attack moves".
-Sniper Headshot
-Armor-Piercing Ammo
-Overload
-Concussive Shot
-Headbutt [it works so well. Its an actual pkmn move and he did the "Harkin Headbutt" XP]
-Recover [recovered a rocket to the face. he can take anything now]
-Calibrate
hmmmmm.......what else?  *is being a dork*

Turian kiss- Instantly revies shepard with invincibility for 10 seconds.

Battle Roar- When shepard is below 20% life garrus does a loud roar increasing all damage by party by 20%

TieBreaker- Garrus' melee damage is increased by 100% for 20 seconds

scoped and droped- Sniper damage increased by %50 for 20 seconds

@danny: ive been thinking of what name to give THAT attack XP i just dont know what name gives it justice. It needs to sound more like an ability than an actual attack move. Like "Calibrate" and "Recover". Buckle detachment? Shirt removal? Armor repair...no thats like recover >.> ...Strut? no wait....YEA! Strut!  It can mean loads of things. Leaving much to the imagination  he can be struting shirtless and all can either be stunned or instant KO. Same for "calibrate" - it can mean MANY things *wink*

Almost forgot, he also has "proximity mine" now.

can the kiss be over 10 seconds instead of invincibility......

anyways LOVE those XD We need a "Reach" move. lol at lvl 100- he'll get "flexibility".

His new Visor looks awesome! Much better than the previous ones.

The new visor seems more transparent so we can see his pretty eyes better Hopefully the lighting in-game will be better (from what we've seen so far, looks like it wil be). One of my biggest complaints regarding Garrus' ME2 model was how hard it was to see his eyes.

Reach & Flexibility- Garrus' movement speed is increased by 30% for 15 seconds.

Calibrated- Party's weapons fire 20% faster and have 20% less recoil for 20 seconds.

I hadn't noticed when it was standing on its own, but wow the lighting in ME3 is good. It was way too high-contrast in ME2, it made everyone's faces look weird except in cinematics. It's much more natural in that third image and you can actually see more of the image.

It's also amazing how the level of detail changed on Garrus. In ME1 he was 'we picked a casual armor we liked for him and then slapped on a monocle', in ME3 he has a beautifully detailed set of armor. He looks lovingly crafted. xD

EDIT: Re: Pokemon moves. Reach should be his move for Double Battle and if used when his partner uses Flexibility, it makes them invincible. 8D

Oh gosh i hated that. They didnt spend much time on Garrus because they believed he wasnt going to be very popular so they didnt concentrate much on him. I love how they later admitted how utterly surprised they were to the explosion of Garrus fans, not just loving him - but wanting him as an LI XD They started spending more time on not just appearance but his character personality in general. Seriously, where did all the sarcasm in me2 come from!?  it was only hinted at slightly in me1. And now seeing him in me3, i love how BW is answering to the call of us garrus fans. We have demanded more garrus, and theyre clearing are giving it to the fanbase. Its the labor of love thats really showing. Really, if it werent for the fans - BW wouldnt have opened their eyes to see his potential and spent so much time crafting him - thus Garrus wouldnt have blossomed to the badass turian we all love so much.
